12:00 PM Georgia Southern at Georgia Tech

Battle of in state schools should be a good one. GSU having a nice start to it's first 1A season so far.

3:30 PM No. 6 Georgia at No. 24 South Carolina

Looks good in names of the school only I am afraid. I think Georgia rolls in Carolina.

7:30 PM Kentucky at Florida

Go Gators!

8:00 PM Tennessee at No. 4 Oklahoma

I think OU rolls in this. UT still seems to be struggling.

8:00 PMNo. 9 USC at Boston College

Tyler Murphy looked good last week. Think BC is getting their feet under them with him at QB. I think this game is closer then what the line will be.

8:00 PMNo. 12 UCLA vs. Texas*

Disappointing season so far for two schools who had big expectations.

If only to me.

Tennessee may lose by 50+. Oklahoma at home is practically unbeatable. I think they've only lost like four or five home games in Stoops' tenure.
Not much again really. Watch SC beat Georgia. Its just the way SS works.

Murphy had a good first drive but was pretty bad after that.

Yeah, Boston College looked pretty bad.  Gator coach/player rejects up there trying to make it and failing.

I wonder if Pruitt can get georgia over the hump.

I think so.  That guy is a good coach and if they have a good season this year he'll be writing his contract to coach a school next year.

I think he can. Guy has really impressed.

I think he holds The Citadel to 0 if he was still at FSU.

It's true.
my schools...

UMass at Vandy - I feel bad for Vandy's new coach.  Total deer in headlights.  On paper he was such a good hire but man what a dumpster fire.  Programs best hope is to win one game this year and leave no doubt that firing the coach is the way to go.  Any excuse to keep him would be a disaster.

UGA at SC - game of the week if you ask me.  I think SC is better than the A&M game indicated.  just shellshocked and couldnt rebound.  saying that I think UGA wins.  Gurley is a beast.  and their defense is looking solid.  If the game gets tight though will be interesting to see how Hutson Mason does.

other games....

Georgia Southern at GaTech - I would LOVE to see the Eagles take down Tech.  Interesting matchup for a bunch of reasons.  First Paul Johnson was coaching in Statesboro before Atlanta(with a stop at Navy in between).  Southern had been running the same triple option for years up until this season.  So their defense is very familiar with it having practiced against it for years.  Southern coulda shoulda won at NC State earlier this year so theyve got a decent squad.  I'm hoping it'll be a good game and really hoping for an upset.  I also really like Southern's old school looking uni's with the numbers on the helmet.  (i still cant stand the Jags new uni's).

Tenn at Oklahoma - I'm expecting OU to roll but Tennessee has started showing signs of life.  Could get interesting.  maybe.

UCLA at Texas - Memphis did end up giving UCLA a fight.  And Texas did get rolled over by BYU.  Could be another blowout here.  But I still think UCLA is overrated.

UCF at Mizzou - I thought UCF played Penn St tougher than I thought they would.  Not sure if UCF is better than I thought or Penn St not as good.  But that QB they brought in mid way through the game really gave them a spark.  Mizzou though will be tough.  Everyone was predicting an upset against Toledo but Mizzou rolled.

East Carolina at VaTech - Hokies coming off a big win.  And East Carolina coming off a disappointing loss.  Pirates were the trending pick of a nonmajor to do well.  Even with the loss they are still a good team.

Louisville at Virginia - Thought the Hoos played really well against UCLA.  Louisville better not show up half interested.

Arkansas at Texas Tech - talk about completely different styles.  a few years ago this would have been a great non-conference matchup.  both teams have fallen off a bit.  I would have expected Bielema to have been a little more impressive than  he has been.  thought he was a great hire for them.

Iowa St at Iowa - CyHawk Trophy... what a terrible name... and a terrible trophy.  Regardless I like rivalry games.  Teams usually play with more passion.  I thought Iowa would be better this year.

Penn St at Rutgers - could be a lot of points scored in this game.  Sorry Winston fans but Hackenberg is the best NFL QB prospect.

Houston at BYU - dont look now but the Cougs could go undefeated this year.  A pretty weak schedule(although not necessarily their fault).  Texas and  Houston both looked a lot better when BYU signed these games.  As did California.  The game at Boise later in the year could be must watch.

UTSA at Okie St - Anyone else watch the Roadrunners last thursday?  Not a bad little program they are putting together!  Okie St suprisingly gave FSU a game.  I wonder if they are better than we think or FSU had an off game.  Wonder if the Roadrunners will play Okie St just as tough.

I still think that Larry Coker is a good football coach. Granted, he was handed a gem of a roster while at Miami, but he knows how to coach 'em up. I'm going to follow that program a lot more closely.
And JW Walsh broke his foot and is out for at least a month for Oklahoma State

I hope they bring that kid in and play him the whole game, but O'leary is a stubborn son of a gun.  I'm not sure what he will do.
If you all think the Michigan QB was bad last week, wait until you see the Texas QB on prime time TV.   The dude was losing by 35 to BYU and threw for a TD and celebrated like Texas just won the championship.

Pitt @ FIU -- noon

Not too late to get on the bandwagon.

The question is can I really root for Tennessee for the sake of the SEC ?   Doubt it.

Pitt looked good against BU.  I'll be interested to see how they play out the year.

Tyler Boyd is a stud. Will be a very high pick when he comes out.
