I don't think I've ever really observed how it is Jordan Todman is a useful player on this team... There has to be a more talented back floating around there, or someone who can still return kickoffs to the 15 yard line and go down with a gust of wind.
In all seriousness, Todman really hasn't ever done anything and I don't really see how it is he made the team. He's not an effective runner, he's not good out of the backfield catching the ball, he's not good in pass protection, and he's really not a good return man.
I've stated my piece on Todman multiple times. We know what he is and I'd rather have a rookie free agent in his spot than him.
Is someone saying Todman is something special? Most were surprised he survived the final cuts.

In fairness, none of our RBs have looked good behind this OL. Robinson flashed a few times against 3rd stringers, but that's it. Against 3rd stringers in the 2013 preseason, Todman flashed even more.
Todman was the receiver on Bortles across-the-field pass (30 yards in the air), so he can catch. He's also a better blocker than Storm or DR.
All that said, I didn't expect Todman to make the team this year. Maybe he'll be the one cut when Sanders returns.

He was in the game during passing downs to help pick up the blitz and block for henne because drob is to light and inecperianced to perform that role.

They needed more help with pass protection. Something Robinson hasn't really taken to yet.
Hopefully they'll find ways to get him the ball out in space.
