Quote:Maybe you should give the man the chance to recover from cancer before you start dragging him through the dirt.....
And, I'll remind everyone that Yarno's OL's sucked in run blocking in Detroit too, so this isn't news for anyone who actually pays attention.
PS: He didn't coach the line today. Maybe you should refocus on Shorts III or something.
PPS: Shorts III didn't play today. Maybe you should focus on Del Rio or Shack or something.

Quote:People do realize what this OL is basically composed of right?
2 rookies (Linder//Joekel)...
Bradfield and Mc are backups
And Beadles
The line isn't going to be all world...especially as the 1st time playing as this unit
One rookie. Luke Joeckel is a second year player.
All five linemen who played today are at the top of our depth chart. Therefore none of them are backups.
Zane Beadles will be OK. He was our first free agent pickup, in fact one of the first free agents to sign with a different team.

No kidding. He hasn't been here for months.
Do you think that its still not his scheme were utilizing. Whatever scheme he used in Detroit, he must have implemented here because the issues are pretty much identical in both of his stints as OL coach between the 2 teams, despite different personnel.

Joeckel is basically still a rookie position and nfl game wise....(4 games at RT and like a quarter at LT)
Bradfield isn't top of our depth chart...that would be Paztor
McClendon won't be our starter the whole year nor should he be nor was he expected to start...hence backup.
But continue with your thoughts...

Quote:The O-Line needs to grow a pair. Philly's front seven is hardly the toughest we will see this year and they got throttled. Absolutely manhandled. It's bad enough to be hamstrung with a QB who makes me want to experiment with meth. The running game needs the big men up front to move D-linemen off the ball. As bad as Henne played the second half, the running game was awful the whole game. So bad, I wouldn't fault Dave for kicking the tires on Incognito (though I really feel like that is a horrible idea).Ouch man.

I understand, after seeing so many of his passes get batted down.
