Cool story on a stray dog in Ecuador following a team of extreme sports competitors around and being adopted:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...inish.html

My husband has a Jardine parrot name Viekko which is Norse for 'brother'. He's a cool bird I guess. I'm a cat person but hubby is allergic and we have too many birds of prey around for us to try an outdoor cat. The bird won't talk but he will mimic sounds he hears like whistling and farts, the later of which is quite entertaining when company comes over.
First winter with our adopted hound.  She loves the snow!

Is your dog running from the serial killer in the background?? She looks scared!! Lol

haha!  No - she was very happy to be off leash and able run around and smell all kinds of critters. Depending on conditions, snow can preserve the scents on the ground. (if it's not too wet or dense- dogs  can smell right through it.)

We were at a rural cabin upstate. For a blind dog to be able to run and smell so many things - she was in heaven.
When this board allows the easy way to post images that I can do on other forums, I will show everyone my cat.

Here's a picture of our cat at my mother-in-law's house: (the picture is pretty small, and a little over a year old, but here it is anyway)

Resurrected an old thread because I was bored at work and wanted to post pics of my dogs.

They're pretty...you should teach them how to clean the pool...or just have your wife clean it. Just a suggestion.
