I didn't see this posted earlier, but thought it was a pretty good read.

Article from NFL.com

It was a good read... Thanks.

Great read in all.

My favorite part......

"The plan going forward is to feed Bortles a limited number of first-team reps in practice -- in addition to his scout team work -- to keep pushing his development. Meanwhile, he'll continue the individual work with offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch in trying to become more of a passer where he's been a thrower, and more of a quarterback where he's been a football player."
This offensive line worries me.

That was one of my favorite parts as well.

If I had to pick my favorite part...

And maybe that's why, in the section of the game notes where most teams have a chart titled "How (Team X) Was Built," Jacksonville has a table that says "How the Jaguars Are Being Built." This is, admittedly, still a work in progress. The difference in 2014? Bradley doesn't need to sell the program anymore. The players have already bought in.

That's the sign of a good manager whether it's the Head Coach of a football team, or a manager in some facility.

Coach Bradley is not going to bow down to the fan's wishes (start Bortles crowd), he's sticking with his plan.  The first phase is almost complete.  Coach Bradley has gathered a group of young talented players that can eventually get to the next level, and he's making them believe it.  He's helping them to "get better" by giving them the tools to help them succeed.  He is also looking forward, not necessarily to this season, but the future.  This season will be yet just another learning tool.

Another thing to think about...  It was said (paraphrasing) that coming to this team was a "vacation" or something to that effect.  Players really didn't want to come to this team or be here for reasons other than "collecting that paycheck".  Now players want to be on this team because it's going to be something special.

I sense that the team may not live up to current expectations by some (sports writers saying that the Jaguars are "the dark horse" to make it to the playoffs).  I hope that I'm wrong and the team progresses enough to get to that level, but I'm just going to sit back and just look for PROGRESS.

No proven receiver that looks like will play and most of all what you said OL will be what I will be looking at the most. No real reason to worry though. This is not our year. Enjoy the building process.
