RIP. She died doing what she loved I suppose.

Never was a fan of hers, she was often annoying as hell...

Very sad news.  

 

I greatly admire Joan Rivers courage and her mindset on many different topics.   She will be greatly missed.   My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter Melissa and the entire Rivers family.

I didn't agree with everything she did and said, but that's what made her interesting. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind even when it was an unpopular opinion. She certainly never got bogged down with political correctness that has this nation in a choke hold. That's a thing to admire in such a public figure.

in many ways, Joan Rivers was a pioneer as a woman comedian. As she aged I wasn't crazy about her career choices, but she was an icon of sorts. When she was in her prime, I thought she was very funny. I admired her ability to laugh at herself, especially at the awkward looking results of her many cosmetic surgeries.

Rest in Peace. Sure makes you think about those procedures we undergo that they say are minor. You just really never know when your time is up.

Ditto.  Ahead of her time.  One could argue perhaps she still is.

I loved her fashion police shows...she wasn't afraid to tell the truth. Her daughter Melissa is gonna be so lost, they've been joined at the hip for the girls whole life.

I haven't seen anything Joan Rivers has done in a long time....I just remember back in the day she would say the craziest stuff and it was funny.  She was also fun to watch on the Apprentice.

She's one of the few people I really thought was consistently funny.

Cosmetic surgeries? If they cremate her she will melt like a bowl of wax.

The tinfoil hat wearing crowd might suggest she was taken out after her comments a short while back about the Os.

Egads, not me....I thought she was "nails on a chalkboard" level annoying with that personality. 

 

Its unfortunate, since I was never able to get past that to hear more of what she had to say - according to some she at least had a mind of her own and wasn't a sheep.

There was a point in time where she was on the short list to replace Johnny Carson when he retired.
