I know a lot you can't stand the "Voice", and I have in the past found Hacker unbearable (during the Tebow age). But anyone else liking this combo for local radio? Or at least happy Twigg is on the air and has settled in? Since Prisco was gone, I've gravitated towards XL Primetime, and now with Twigg, it's clearly the best daily show on 1010xl. I don't feel that overbearing sense of fluff I get from The Drill or the Frange/Ballou show (or the Fantasy Football nerdism of the Mike Dempsey show). I actually think I like what's happening there.
Mike Dempsey is the only thing worth listening to ON 1010xl IMO.
T-wigg is good. Hacker is unlistenable.
I do like T-Wigg. He seems like an intelligent guy.
I get the feeling either T-Wigg hates hacker or he just likes to call him out when he double speaks. The last few times I've listened (and its usually daily), T-Wigg absolutely rips him apart and makes Hacker look bad.
It's pretty funny. I actually don't mind Hacker, but its funny.

I second that. Say what you want about Prisco but he's a whole lot more entertaining and has at least some football knowledge.

Exactly. I usually disagree with his opinions but he made my drive to UNF everyday enjoyable. Used to love his banter with his callers.

I think it's way more light-hearted than the way you described it. But, yea, this is kind of what I was talking about. Good radio.

Hacker is 1010's whipping boy. He gets it from every one of them. The latest was this morning when Prosser was talking about having to hide some food in the back of the fridge or else Hacker would get it. Then there was a little back and forth about it regarding Hacker.

What I heard yesterday didn't seem too playful. It was almost like he was waiting for Hacker to set himself up, and then blast him. Hacker tried to defend himself, blasted him again.
You're right, its good radio...but I almost felt bad for Hacker.

He was a regular caller that actually brought some insight. I believe he also interned there for a while to get some experience.
I would never put him in the same category as Joe-U or Ox. Joe-U is a Miami homer that cant see through the bias, and Ox just calls in for a laugh.

I think he may have been a regular caller on Prisco's show, but not entirely sure. I know at least I've heard Pete mention T-wigg before he was on 1010xl.

I mistook is accent for arrogance at first. You can tell his years of talking at the shop have turned him into a really good conversationalist.

Agreed. I was skeptical when they added basically a fan boy to the show, but it turns out he's actually not half bad. Still, Hacker is the punchline on that show, and with that station. He should run off to 930 to host a show on a station nobody listens to. The airwaves would thank him.
