Miller and Coors Light are the beers you politely accept at a tailgate because it's free and the host doesn't know any better. Of course if they brought Budweiser you fully justified to slap them as hard as you can and pee in their gas tank and/or barbecue.
I've seen many self-proclaimed beer aficionados turn their nose up at run of the mill domestic labels, but I've yet to see one refuse same in absence of a better choice.

A majority of the beer I drink is German for this exact reason. The results speak for themselves. The rest being Belgian (because they are the best) and American (because we seem to be obsessed with hops).

You used to post some genuinely funny witticisms, but they've shaded towards snide in the last year or so.
(shrug) Maybe it's just me.
For the record I was just having a little fun in this thread. Sure I like miller light but I'm positive some of these other beers are better, I've just never had any of them lol.
There are five breweries that have attained distribution in the town I live in in Virginia. FIVE! Now, two of them are really into making fruit beers and IPAs so obviously I avoid them, but the others are pretty good.
While I can't really speak to Oregon beers, I'll take a Legend Bourbon Barrel Imperial Brown Ale over most any beer I've tried recently.
Obvious choices are Colorado and Oregon. I'll choose Colorado being that I reside in the state.
