Since via Adopt thread. I stated will adopt Fournette. I will post here. All through the year. With as much Fournette stuff as can find. Good or bad.

So here I go. The first video. I found amazing. https://youtu.be/gaancmiTCFg
We're so on the same page. I was just thinking about watching every last thing on Fournette going back to his HS days and posting something like this.

This is was in the side bar for your video. It's every Fournette TD he had in college...

I'll start way back with his highlights for every season...

I'm starting to look into his games as I see he has several dating back to 2014 games and almost every 2015 and 2015 game.

For starters I found his highlights in a big high school game against John Curtis... https://youtu.be/QyLF_hWQ7yY

The oldest play I could find was his first play at LSU... https://youtu.be/2aldo2cxzgo

The oldest game I could find was vs Ole Miss, his 9th game as a freshman in 2014 (Week 10)... https://youtu.be/cRKsZGoZ-K8

Next up is the regular season finale at Texas A&M (Week 13)... https://youtu.be/xag_HcAjGPU

Finally, there's the 2014 Music City Bowl against Notre Dame (a must watch)... https://youtu.be/ysEJqa-j2rg

I'll look at 2015 games in another post.

Just to temper all the homerism -  here's a compilation of all of Fournette's tackles for loss, no gain or incomplete passes vs Bama:

His high school days...? Must have a great life, with time, and resources aplenty. God bless the O2.
Are we psyching ourselves up for tremendous disappointment with all this Fournette blather? Remember, we are Jaguars.

Wait

And

See

Where is the compilation? This is just a .gif.

As for going back to his HS days, I recommend it. It gives you a better chance to really know him as a RB as you realize he's always had it. DId he even learn anything at LSU?

I'm starting to wonder if Eric Dickerson should be worried about his 1808 yard rookie rushing record. He'd have to average over 113 yards per game.

It's 8 images of him being tackled at or behind the line of scrimmage and failing to catch the only pass thrown his way in that game.

I just feel that so many highlights should be balanced with some "lowlights."  He's sure to have a few as a Jaguar as well.

And yeah - I'm completely uninterested in high school stuff unless we're talking about a QB.

The games are the best way to see the lowlights because you get every play. The thing is, those lowlights don't occur as often as you might think. On occasion he might have a stretch of three to four plays getting nowhere but then on the next play he'll bust loose. Typically, though, he's at least making some yards on sheer effort. With Fournette, being contacted by no means equates to being tackled.

Also, if I can get you to just watch a little HS stuff... check out his junior season highlights that I posted above.

He average 1 yard per carry in his first ten carries vs Bama in 2015.   He never did break 80 yards or eclipse 4 yards per carry vs bama in his 3 years at LSU.

I see things like that as more of an indicator of what he'll have to deal with against NFL defenses than running for 240 yards against Syracuse.

(I watched a dozen of his complete games against the better defenses prior to the draft BTW)

I'm not sure that game is the best indicator because Alabama's DL was too much for LSU to handle. I've read a prediction that Fournette might do even better behind NFL run blocking schemes far more advanced than what he ran behind at LSU.

Well - It's three games and Jags O-Line will also struggle at times as we've witnessed for several years now.

I'm still feel pretty confident in Fournette though.

I'm just not expecting him to have huge games against some of the better run defenses we'll face.

In the three times he played against Bama he went up against a front 7 that put probably 15 players in the league. I'd say 21 for 3x7 but with starters for multiple years I think 15 is a good number. LSU had maybe 4 offensive lineman go in the draft in that time frame. Not to mention no passing game in that time either. I'm not thinking Fournette is going to turn this team around by any means but you kind of have to give him a little slack.
I think the complete ineptitude of his QB contributed to the Bama games as well.  They were sold out to stop him cold, and the Tigers' O couldn't take advantage.  Blake can at least throw on a loaded box.

Watch Lags latest "Film Room" on Fournette and check out his spin-jump against Alabama.
