I think I read somewhere he might be...
Quote:yes but will he "bust"?

A good but underwhelming year.... What does that even mean?
1. Hurns - Going to catch the majority of balls thrown this season.

2. Shorts - Going to take a few weeks to get up to game speed, but will still catch at least 65 balls.

3. Lee - Big play ability, just not sure if he knows how to be a No.3 receiver yet.

4. Robinson - Hope he can produce on Sundays.

5. Brown/Sanders (can't make up my mind....)
Quote:Before the season starts, test your prognostication skills. Just predict how the Jaguar Wideouts will rank based on catches and yards. (Yes, I know that can cause a discrepancy in very rare cases) Just say who you think the best will be, and work your way down.

For me:

4. Lee - Will have a good, but underwhelming year.

IMO, Lee will have an underwhelming season until Bortles claims the starting gig.

Henne won't be able to take advantage over the top like Bortles did with Lee last game.

Lee should start. He can block, he is built for screen plays, and has the agility speed combo to make people miss. Keep him on the outside, no slot please unless it's presnap movement.

For me:

1. Robinson - Injured now, but will be the best when it's all said and done.

2. Hurns - Guy will make the most of his chances, and will evolve as Jimmy Smith 2.0.

3. Shorts - Will have a good year, but will be allowed to walk following the season.

4. Lee - Will have a good, but underwhelming year.

5. Sanders - Has a decent year, but pays the price for the hippie lettuce.

After that, Who cares. Special teams guys who may or may not be active every week, and will be lucky to hit double digit catches and triple digit yards for the year

That's me and how I see it today. It's the fun part of waiting for the year to start.

The way that I see it right now.

1.  Shorts

2.  Sanders/Brown

3.  Hurns

4./5.  Robinson/Lee

Mike Brown gets the nod at #2 solely due to being a veteran.  It's pretty much his job to lose.  I would put him below Ace Sanders if not for the suspension.

From what I have seen, Hurns played the best out of all rookie receivers.  This guy is going to be special.

Robinson and Lee have not really showed enough for me to rate them higher.

Ask after mid-season and the list is certainly different.  I do foresee Hurns and Lee both moving up the list.  Ace Sanders is a huge IF, but I feel like he will maintain a position near the top of the list.  Mike Brown will probably move down through no fault of his.

That would mean average if you want me do dumb it down for you.
Quote:anyone else starting to think Lee might be a bust?
Yes, and I could act like an ignorant freak and spam, literally spam the board about posts of yours too.

Remember this gem you kicked off your career here with?

Stop being a [BLEEP], or you will get it back X10. You have more than your share of things out there if someone wanted to constantly make light of them.

Idiot....

interpreting that gobooldygook is above my paygrade.

maybe there is a hidden message in it?

but wait!? then he follows up in an explanation saying that a good year = average

???????

average = good

hmmm

i thought the grading system was

great

good

average

below average

at least that's what we were taught in school, man

What definitive proof do you have that Hurns is going to be an elite WR?

What definitive proof do you have that Brown > Lee?

What definitive proof do you have that Lee is a bust?

(See how stupid it is to use this type of angle in a discussion?)

Oh OK. Your posts are mediocre but underwhelming.

Does that mean bad in your layperson terms? Because that's what I was going for.

Idiot....

You're the guy who made a thread about a rookie WR being a bust after his 3rd preseason game in the NFL and you are calling other people idiots? What's that saying about pots and kettles?

If we had definitive proof about these kinds of things, there would be no need for us to post our opinions here as we'd all know the answers.
