Quote:We had some real good veterans that year plus Mark was in his 4th year I believe. If not for sure 3rd. All that said I told my wife this is the best it will ever be when we were at the Stadium at 2 am watching the team return from Denver.
I was there too.

Sure were close.
The story lines are there ready to be told. If we start stringing wins together and get in talks of winning our division, the Jags suddenly become mainstream media's underdog darlings or the rookie led comeback kids. Or whatever other timeless football archetype.

Quote:You are totally missing the point. I specifically referred to how last year was like 1995 in the sense that in many ways we were nearly starting over again and a year later, the media is saying "one more year" until we reach the playoffs. How is that not obvious to everyone? I did not say anything about this season going almost the same way that one did.

Well OK.  <backs away slowly>
Quote:How many actual cat lives is that considering they get 9 each?  219 or so?

It depends on how you count. Are you including the coaches, executives, cheerleaders, and mascot or just the players? Do you count all of  the players or just the active roster guys?
I would love for us to shine this season and in the future, I cant wait for us to have  something magical happen for us.

It would be neat to see Hollywood make a film about the 96 season, I know it will never happen but i mean really that could easily be a film.

Remember the days we were called Cardiac Cats? I am looking forward to getting that nickname back.
