12 man league - standard scoring - drafted 6th
QB- P.Manning
RB- A.Morris, C.Spiller, S.Jackson, D.Freeman, B.Sankey
WR- C.Johnson, M.Floyd (ARZ), C.Patterson, R.Randle, K.Benjamin
TE- C.Clay, L.Green
K- D.Carpenter
DEF- Denver
Thoughts? I feel good about my receivers and QB but RBs are a weakness. Hoping for Spiller to bounce back this year. Overall I'm happy with the result.
Like it. Backs have some risk but upside in Sankey.Freeman. I think one of them will end up being your number 2 back. I don't trust Spiller at all but, it's worth it for the upside. Receivers are really nice.
Mine. 10 team. .5 PPR
Qb- Matt Ryan
RB - Demarco Murray, Andre Ellington, Toby Gerhart, Bernard Pierce, Mark Ingram
WR - Demaryius Thomas, Roddy White, Michael Floyd, Rueben RAndle, Justin Hunter,
TE - Kyle Rudolph
K - Forgot
Def - Bengals
Find someone to replace RR maybe, Have you seen the giants lately?
I feel comfortable enough with the rest of my receivers that I should be good with the group even if Randle doesn't pan out. I think he could get some nice red zone targets.
Bleedingteal- Nice draft. Justin Hunter is a guy I was hoping to snag.
Calvin Johnson AND jughead in a 12 man?
winner.

I'm confused how you got manning calvin and morris in a 12 man draft. That's 3 first round/ high second round picks

C. Patterson provides the added benefit when used as a kickoff returner. When the ball is in Patterson's hands, he's a threat to go the distance on any play. If Patterson's route running catches up to his natural ability, he's going to demand extra attention on practically every play. Not easy to do with Adrian Peterson on the same Offense.

Considering new Vikings Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner's history of productive TE's and Kyle Rudolph's ability, if the Vikings get even decent QB play, Rudolph could have a monster stat year.
I'd try to roster Roy Helu if possible.

Patterson is a guy I've been very high on. I think he could have a big year. Minnesota got quite creative using him in different ways. He's Harvinesque. Very glad to have him as my flex.

As a fan of an opposing team in the NFC North, I agree with your assessment. What's scary is C. Patterson has many of Percy Harvin's positive attributes as an NFL player and is noticeably bigger than Harvin. With Norv Turner calling the Offensive plays for the Vikings and a number of playmakers at the skill positions, it's a combination that could easily lead to many points both for the Vikings and for FF owners of some of their players.
WAs this in the draft tonight that Trav59 just had?

Nah Wolfie it was a different one.
Got offered my choice of McFadden/Moreno for Sankey. Thoughts? I'm thinking of sticking with Sankey.
12 Team, PPR, 2 player keepers. I picked 8th and kept Matt Forte and Jimmy Graham as my keepers. Also traded AJ Green and a for a 12th and 15th round pick before draft for a 6th and 10th round pick. We have an "interesting" league.
QB Matthew Stafford (41st Overall)
RB Matt Forte (8th Overall Keeper)
RB Giovani Bernard (32nd Overall)
WR Cordarrelle Patterson (61st Overall)
WR Reggie Wayne (65 Overall)
TE Jimmy Graham (20th Overall Keeper)
FLEX Darren Sproles (Originally drafted Danny Amendola 104th Overall, but traded after draft for Darren Sproles)
D/ST Cardinals (152nd Overall)
K Phil Dawson (161st Overall)
BENCH
QB Tony Romo (113th Overall)
RB Ray Rice (56th Overall)
RB Steven Jackson (89th Overall)
WR Golden Tate (80th Overall)
WR Mike Evans (109th Overall)
WR Josh Gordon (128th Overall)

10 team(I know, two guys bailed last minute)PPR, Snake, picked third:

Subsequently, Gerhart and Welker were dropped in my league so obviously I dropped Pierce and Escobar and picked up the players aforementioned.

Yessir. Leading the league in pts by a landslide.
Dropped Carpenter for Matt Bryant and was rewarded with a league high 18 pts. Not bad for a kicker!
