Was announced he won the starting QB job over Jake Heaps. The guy who was supposed to be the starter, Ryan Williams, hurt his knee in the spring. Apparently his recovery is going well. If Kaaya struggles at all, wouldnt surprise me to see Williams back at starter if he is healthy enough.
Funny thing is 5th year senor Heaps transferred from Utah to Kansas to the U. Is Miami really that bad to offer this dude a scholarship ???? Hopefully Kaaya provides them stability at the position for the next 3 years.
Kaaya was horrible against Louisville.... Toss those uniforms in the dumpster as well.
Miami sucks. They will continue to suck as long as Golden is there. One of the worst game day coaches I've ever seen.
Felt bad for Kaaya.
Kid played pretty decent and was tough.

yep
Kaaya was terrible. The OC also did a terrible job with play calling. So predictable. When Kaaya did get an opportunity to throw the ball, he couldn't get past the 1st option of a check down. Dorsett and others were so wide open (as pointed out by the analysts).
Anyone saying Kaaya was not that bad is just being nice. He pulled a Gabbert and had decent stats for the most part by taking the safe path of throwing the ball 5 yards and letting the outlet option run the ball.
The U needs to fire Golden and the OC today and revoke Kaaya's scholarship tomorrow. While they are at it, they also need to start cheating again. This whole honesty approach is killing them !!!
LOL at the day where The U win the ACC Basketball Title (2013) and then lose in football to Duke by 18 and a year later lose to Louisville by 18.
The kid is a true freshman starting his first game so relax. The play calling and lost looks on the sidelines worry me much more. The U will not be back until we put a real coach and coaching staff on the sidelines. The team does not lack talent....just leadership and coaching.
