Answering a question with a question?

Answer yours first then I'll answer mine.
Quote:Sounds like you're just a hypersensitive little Texans fan who already is starting to get the idea that CLOWNey is headed for a career of lots of nagging injuries that hold him back.

I think you're projecting this hypersensitivity, TMD.  I know if I had a #2 pick that was injury prone, named JOKEel, who's primary job will be to block Mr. CLOWNey I'd be projecting too. :whistling:

Joke-el, ha, I get it...

Ah-HA-ha!.....ha....

I don't have to answer the question, because it was a rhetorical question as in I already know the answer..  I was one of the people that made a argument to bring you back during that time, because regardless of how ridiculous or abrasive some of your takes were, you weren't a stepford poster and did mix the punch bowl (some people used other phrases like poo poo stirrer, or "blank" stirrer, home troll, narcissistic maniac.. you get the point) and helped move the needle, like Bayless does.

But as to your other question, I'm pretty sure you know who this is, I'm like a V.D.  You can apply cream, but I'll just keep popping up. Smile

Surely its not CB, definitely not TH...

Hey Chop, how has Mettenberger looked so far?

I would rather get the insight of a actual fan who follows the team on a daily basis.

Actually, really good. My biggest problem with him is that he seems to lack the mental clock to know when he needs to leave the pocket. He's kind of a statue, standing there and holding on to the ball. He throws crisp, clean passes mostly on target. He makes good decisions most of the time. Better than expected for a rookie.

Now, maybe you can give me some insight on the Texans. I've been watching their games, and I really like Grimes. I am not impressed with Foster, though it is the preseason. What kind of role do you expect Grimes to take on this season?

Question for Jaguar fans too, since we're on this now. I was really impressed by Hurns in his last game. So much that I took a flyer on him with my last pick in my last draft. I think he will become a big contributor to the Jags' offense at some point this season. My question is, do you think I'll have to wait for him to get his chance and hang on to him or will he get a lot of snaps early on?

He is basically our clear cut #2 WR...

I consider Shorts #1 but shorts is better as a #2 option. Hurns has the #1 WR height/speed/hands...just his lanky frame brings questions of durability.  Hurns also knows Fisch (OC) system.

Robinson who will hopefully be our future #1 but with being injured there is no way to say what/if any he will bring to the table this year.

Lee has been decent but not up to what many fans expected.  He is also more of a #2/#3 option build.

For your FF question...Hurns will definitely get snaps from the go as #2 WR...the question however is what QB is going to be throwing to him.  If its Henne, I would expect Hurns targets to be much lower than what Bortles would give him.  This is due to Henne being less likely to go deep and his familiarity with Shorts/Mercedes/HB dump-offs.  I would think Lee playing in the slot in the under 8 yard throw lanes would be a favored target over Hurns when it comes to Henne.

I think he'll be more useful early and play less as the season goes on as Lee and Robinson catch up to things. I'd expect many other posters to disagree with me though.
"Jadavius Clowney" hahahaha

edit: dont know who the announcer is but he just called him that again.

Clowney will be a beast, but we got Blake Bortles and everyone is happy about it!

dont forget our bet.
Just to update -

per rotoworld:

Jadeveon Clowney - LB - Texans

Updating previous items, the injury that caused Jadeveon Clowney to miss a week of camp was a concussion.
This is just a bookkeeping note as Clowney has already passed through the league's protocols. The No. 1 overall pick will make his debut against the Redskins Sunday.
* sports hernia, check

* 1st known concussion, check

* IIRC, there was also another injury in college (knee/ ankle/ back?)

Man, I need you to join another fantasy league!  That was always fun.

I like Clowney and he has a shot at being one of the best defensive ends in the league, but I just dont think he has the heart.  I've said it before, and JJ Watt will help his motor, I just have the feeling he doesn't want it.  I'm not trying to annoy the Texan fans by saying that, its just how I feel.

Sorry CB... I didn't have any idea that was you, before.
