Thanks, and I think the Beatles logo works with this idea, because its something thats pretty much well known which helps sell it, but also the similarity in names with Beatles/ Bortles. That would be the "hook".
If you've got a "good" idea...it's probably not a good idea to broadcast it on a message board where any Tom, Dick or Harry could steal your great idea.

That being said...this idea is safe from being stolen... :whistling:

It wouldn't matter anyway, as Chiefjag said, NFL properties is in the way....now....if say Shad Khan happened to get word of this idea and liked it.....then he would have the means to get it done, and perhaps throw a few crumbs my way for the idea.... B)

What don't you like about it?

I just generally don't like "copies" of things. Originality is such a lost art.

This will definitely happen...

In this instance its using a play on words so to speak. I don't see it as a "copy". Using the Beatles thing makes it funny, no....not in a hysterical sort of way, but clever funny.

Yes, because a t-shirt design would be the kind of big picture thinking that made Khan a billionaire.

Its something that would be good advertising and add visibility to a Jags player if these shirts caught on. I think the fact that Bortles is a QB combined with the clever morph of the Beatles wordplay and the Beatles logo being something that is pretty much a well known brand itself makes this idea a potential winner.
I can put you in touch with some t-shirt people if you want.

Or you can Zazzle it.

Whats "Zazzle"?

Since you asked politely...
I would get ready for a cease and desist order coming to you if you make that shirt.

I'd just like to see the idea come to fruition. I think its a great T shirt idea. It doesn't have to be my cash cow.

I actually quite like the idea but like other said, the legal minefield is vast and very deadly. It shouldn't be too hard to make one for personal use though.

Have "Bortles" in the above Beatles style font and "Blake" where "The" is.....

...and maybe have each of the 4 up there be different stages of Blake winding up and throwing a pass.

Good?

Bad?

Hokey?

Cool?

Should I rush out and get the patent or what? B)

Acquiring a patent on someone's else name is hard. See "Johnny Football"...

Nevertheless I'd buy one...

NH3...
Order the freakn shirts...

Then you are dyslexic
Whats next? Michael Sam and Wham!,?

How about something closer to home incorporating the golden arches or Burger King....yeah thats it Bortles as Burger King. Invest all your money. Do it now.

How about a big bottle called Bortles Up on some Gus Juice bottle

This isn't as good as your Blaine Gabbert/ bee gees shirt idea. At least gabbs/ gibb similarity Blaine's initials, and the fact that Gabbert is somehow "Staying Alive" in the NFL.

For me, I'd like to order a few of your other shirts ( not a Beatles fan)

I'll take 1 L "Bortlesmith" shirt in white.

An Xl woman's ac/bb in black spaghetti strap

And one child's L "BlakeicA"
Are we only doing bortles shirts?

How about a "sippin on some cyprien" shirt?
