Yea I guess. In another thread about this a while back I posted quite a bit of info. Facts don't seem to deter some people from fighting the good fight though.

I also am a male and I'm not offended by the name/term or whatever "Redskin", but then again I'm not in anyway native american, so I don't think I have too much say in the matter.

I'm an unoffended male American. I also love the FSU Seminoles and my High School Alma Matter, the Southeast Seminoles. Most of this garbage is small minded people looking to broadcast just how special and wonderful they are because, doggone it, they don't like the right things!

I'm stationed in Maryland ATM and all I ever hear about this being offensive is from groups who, for the most part fail to make up a majority of native Americans.  If someone would go back to the history, the term redskin was is massively disputed, and poll have been conducted by the NFL and other organizations on the term Redskin and many Indians do not find the term offensive.  This really is a result of trying to not offend anyone anywhere at anytime in a politically correct age.  

If I we're a Native American, I'd be more offended at the redskins ugly [BLEEP] colors, more than the name. 

I'm not offended, but I'm also a white guy. Whether or not Native Americans are offended matters far more than whether or not I am.

Just out of curiosity, why does it matter if they're offended? Why does it matter if anyone is offended by anything? Its about the most useless emotion in existence and if it drives them to boycott that makes it the owners perogative to change. Beyond that, why should anyone else care? It frankly doesnt matter to me or anyone else in any tangible way because it has no affect on me or anyone else at all. It's hypersensitive "me too"-ism taken to the extreme.

valid point. I'm not religious and i'm not offended by the Angels or the Padres for that matter. It's a sports team not a cult.

London is offended by the Patriots and demands the name be changed to the Treasonists.
