Very unfortunate for him, the report doesn't say much as far as the extent of the injury but it doesn't sound good from what I have read.

As much as I hate Urban Meyer, I feel bad for Miller. Everything I have seen has him likely out for the season.

Screws up my prediction for the playoff field.

I feel bad for him because he seems like a pretty good, hard working kid.

As much as I feel bad for him, I feel the exact opposite for Urban.  I'm not really even a Gator fan....OSU has rubbed me the wrong way ever since they "beat" Miami for the national title (was that '02?).  Urban being a jerk and going there a year after wanting to spend time with his family was icing on the cake.

Look at OS schedule? Don't really matter who they have at QB. Michigan State may be a little harder.

Tough loss for OSU. Hope for a speedy recovery.

They play so many cupcakes both in and out of conference 10-2 with a warm body at QB is probably very doable

Can't stand the Buckeyes but I really hate that Miller will miss out. As much as I dislike them, you still admire the talent and at the end of the day they are still youngsters and this one has the mis fortune to miss his senior year. Plus side, he is going to graduate and I believe go after a masters. All the best, Braxton

I wish every Buckeyes hater shared that sentiment. You can hate the team all you want, but Braxton Miller is a good guy and, like it or not, a good quarterback.

The story I read on ESPN.com makes me think he was cleared to practice way too early. Nobody who has shoulder surgery in February should be practicing in April. I am not sure how limited he was then, but the fact that he was not medically ruled out of all spring and summer practices bothers me.

I also wonder why the surgeon waited until February to operate. Miller had to know shortly after the Orange Bowl it5 was a partial labrum tear because the injury was why he chose to  come back for his senior year. Something weird happened at the OSU Medical Center and I don't like it.

Now I have two questions:

1. How good is the new quarterback?

2. Can the Buckeyes still play like a top five team?

You did forget that they play a endless series of nobodies.......so does it really matter who is the QB. I do hope for a complete recovery for him!

I did not forget Navy is a "nobody." Several years ago, Navy almost pulled off an upset, losing by only four points. Ohio State was ranked in the top 10 at the time. So for OSU, Navy is not a "nobody." I know times have changed since then, but many of the same players will be there. As for the rest of  the schedule, I have not seen it or the Top 25 rankings, so I can't comment.
