Now that "Drew Jones" is gone they dont have anybody...


They dont know the coaches name.


And we need to do more trick plays and stop running up the middle.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. Agreed on how the opinions will change after this season. When teams are losing people quickly make stupid comments, because it gives them a pat on the back. Can't wait until the Jags crush Pittsbugh. One of my cousins who makes these dumb statements is a big Steelers fan.

Just buy tickets way up in the 400 sections, tell them that Gerhart is Tebow, and they won't know the difference. From what I'm reading, it won't take much to fool them kin folk.

It's funny, most talk about Jacksonville and the team doesn't really bother me because the team has in fact been rather awful of late. But the thing that gets under my skin is the "they're moving to LA soon anyway" jabs. Drives me nuts.

Things said by people holding PBR and/or wearing orange and blue to Jaguar games on Sundays.

You need to direspect your famiry!

Most of my family are Bears fans and live in Illinois (with one exception) so you can imagine how last week was for me.  I sometimes use them to gauge national perception of the team, and it's very interesting.  The myths that I've corrected from time to time but seem to persist are mostly what you'd expect.

 

* The Jaguars black out almost all of their games.

* The Jaguars sell fewer tickets than any other team.

* The Jaguars have one of the smallest stadiums in the NFL (I have no idea why this headscratcher keeps popping up).

* The Jaguars are going to move to London or LA soon.

* The Jaguars should have signed Tim Tebow.

I still get alot of dumb comments from friends and family about the Jags, But soon they will shut up

You get to pick your friends.  Sadly, this is not true with relatives.

Lame.  Just keep it all bottled up until Bortles takes us to the promised land, then you can be one of those "I told you so" people, and talk endless smack until they don't want to be around you anymore.  Also, remind them whenever you feel it is necessary that Tebow is no longer in the NFL, and never will be again because he sucks.

I know, I've pointed this out and the fact that the Bear's home stadium is actually smaller than Everbank even with the tarps.  The general feedback is that "well, if that's all true, why does everyone say they're moving"?  I usually reply, "exactly".

I hear the team has cooties and the fans are stoopid.
