I have not seen a post that is related to this.If so I am sorry I posted this. After last nights game and the NE/EAGLES game I just watched is this what the NFL is going to do to our great sport?
If you touch the QB flag.
If the pass is incomplete Flag --Hands to the face called constantly
I just saw 2 games with the most flags I think I have ever seen. Not because it was a Pre-Season either. Most were in the first half with the starters in.
This has got to stop!!!
Games are almost unwatchable.
It stands for the National Flag-throwing League, right?
I thought so.
So I'm trying to watch flag throwing and they keep interrupting it with football.
They need to do something. All the money is in flag throwing and they keep sabotaging it by showing way too much football.
Roger Goodell. smh.
Ugh that Roger Goodell and all of his rule changes it's so annoying. Wait...Roger Goodell isn't on the Competition Committee....hmm...interesting.
On a side note, maybe if all these players would I dunno say stop suing the NFL because they were paid millions of dollars and now they have some injury for the rest of their lives MAYBE then we could actually watch a contact sport. But as long as these people keep suing the rules are going to become more strict.
Roger Goodell does not MAKE the rules, he may have some input but he does not just make the rules.

The NFL’s owners
voted to change five NFL rules, while also voting down three proposals and tabling five proposals until next year. Here are the results of the votes on rules changes
, bylaw changes
and resolution changes
brought forward by the NFL Competition Committee

This will definitely become the story for this preseason... coincidentally it takes attention away from the botched call the NFL made on the Ray Rice suspension scandal

Exactly. I don't like Roger goodel, but these rule changes weren't all his fault.
Most of the flags being thrown over the past 2 weeks are not based on new rules. They're simply making a point of emphasis about certain rules already on the books. It's annoying, but hopefully it won't continue into the regular season. The refs are just trying to make a point.
They want Arena ball on an NFL field.
