Some on here may remember Bentley back when he was the best Center in the League and was a coveted Free Agent. Well now he runs a training facility that Mike Brewster attended over the summer. Grantland ran an article about Bentley's approach. I think it's an interesting read because Bentley is challenging the old traditions of weight training throughout football. I'd be really interested to learn more.

The group of five on one side is Bentley’s original group: Lauvao, Boone, Brewster, Massie, and Bears backup lineman Taylor Boggs, who found Bentley’s name online and cold-called him before his senior season at Division II Humboldt State.

Good find. Nice read.

Can we bring Bentley in for a try out? He's had plenty of time to heal. LOL

Deacon,  thanks for posting this.

Since the time Larry Warford was drafted by the Lions last year, his time working with LaCharles Bentley has been mentioned often in the articles about Warford.   The huge success that Warford achieved in large part because of Bentley made such an impact on Warford that he worked with Bentley again before this year's training camp.

Bentley's impact on Warford is a huge success....not so much on Brewster.  Sometimes you can't make a filet mignon when you're given ground chuck to start.

Well, let's see how Brewster responds to the issues in the first preseason game.  Maybe his training will kick in.
