per rotoworld:
Cardinals rookie QB Logan Thomas completed 11-of-12 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown against the Texans.
Thomas did all his damage against the Texans' third-string unit, but it was an impressive display of precision from a player who struggled with accuracy during his college career. It was only one performance, but it appears Thomas is headed in the right direction.
If I recall the kid has a lot of potential coming in but was just really really raw. guess he's learning quick. This AFC south isn't looking so hot and it makes me think th Jags might be really competitive this year.
The Texans first and second stringers are pretty bad. The third stringers have to be terrible. I'll qwell the accolades until he shows something against a better team and some players who might actually see the field.
The Texans lost a million to zero. Didn't see a lot of motivation.
Cardinals are my second team, so this is encouraging
Lived in Phoenix, went to high school there, and since they are in the NFC and the Jags AFC,they can be my second favorite team.Whenever they play each other,I'm always Jags
He didn't get the right QB coaching in college. Hope it works for him in the NFL.
Again, he's got everything "prototypical" that coaches want.
I would never have guess something from the Texans would get high praise atm. They looked horrible.
On a Second team talk: I will always be a Jags fan but i do cheer for NFC teams here and there. Just not another AFC team.

what from the Texans is getting high praise?
You are aware that Thomas plays for the Arizona Cardinals, right??

I thought you would appreciate the edit.
The best thing Logan Thomas has going for himself is Brian Arians is his Head Coach. Arians has an excellent track record with QB's and overall a strong case can be made that Arians is the most underrated Head Coach in the NFL.
Best case for Cardinals is they get two more years out of Palmer and Thomas can step in.
He went to a good spot and looked good the other night.
But it was still against the third string of the worst team in the NFL.

I agree with that. Idk how you can be the best rookie when the only thing you did was look good against third and fourth string.
He did make some nice throws regardless, but you just can't make that call against the players he was going against. We are talking about guys who will prob be bagging groceries in a couple weeks.
I thought Logan Thomas was going to have to make a position change if he had any thought of making it in the pros. I could be wrong. Good for him.
Before we get too excited about Logan Thomas, Remember he played against 3's and the Texans Defense depth is highly questionable. However I bet he is benefiting bigtime with Arians.
Keep in mind this is Logan Thomas. He IS capable of brief stretches of brilliance.
I have a buddy that is a Virginia Tech and Houston Texan fan. He said that it was kinda horrifying watching Logan Thomas carve up the Houston secondary because a ) Logan Thomas was teh sux in college and b ) look what Logan Thomas could have done in college with some decent coaching.
I told him that it must have been like that Mortal Kombat fatality where the guy tears your leg off and beats you to death with it.
So i guess I said the wrong words and my post was deleted and i was issued a warning... But sorry I spaced on what player i was thinking about Tom Savage for some reason instead of Logan Thomas from my post above.
I like how people pick out the fact that Thomas did this against 2nd/3rd stringers but don't make a big deal about Bortles doing the same thing. Just trying to keep an objective view. Personally
I think both Quarterbacks have looked really good.
I read that too, and some other tweets saying similar things, but I went back and watched all of the throws and it honestly wasn't that impressive. It was all easy, quick hit type stuff. Credit to Logan for doing what was asked of him, but none of them were 'Sunday throws'. Bortles and Garoppolo were both easily more impressive than Logan to me for sure, but he was probably 3rd best.
