Has he ever been called out on his playing days at Maryland?

He supposedly played college football.  Good luck finding a stat line.  The only evidence he did is a wiki page listing all of the former players for the Terrapins.  That's it.  He may have added that himself.  lol

Yup.  Sam shouldn't consider quitting his day job to pursue a career as a play by play for the NFL.

All the old Maryland football media guides can be found online. I did,not see his name listed in any of,them from 1972-1976, which based upon his age would make sense when he may have played there.

Lol. Oh yea. Forgot about that era. Just watched the broadcast and have to admit after reading some of these comments was expecting a train wreck. For their first time out and working together did not really think it was all that bad. While Sam may not have had all the excitement in the world would rather listen to that than the high pitched screaming from the pbp guy that was doing the Browns/Lions game last night.

Kouvaris should just embrace the Ron Burgundy approach and go nuts. Scotch in the booth, and lots of references to himself.

Didnt catch the rewind up here in Jersey, does anybody know when it will re-air, and will they show the Jax, or TB feed?

10:00 this morning, and they show both feeds, 1 in the first half and the other in the 2nd.
