With an injury like your body start pumping your system full of adrenaline so you hardly feel any pain right after the injury happens. Hopefully he got a bunch of painkillers before the adrenaline high wore off.

Doubt he plays this year. Good for George is that there is not nerve, ligament or artery damage. It was a clean break so he wont even be walking for a few months. But it should heal as strong as before.

Major injuries such as this one are a reminder of why I'm glad NFL players don't play in non-NFL team games other than the Pro Bowl. It's bad enough to have a player suffer a major injury in a game or practice with your team. It's another to lose the player to injury in a tournament setting such as the one Paul George was in. Very unnecessary and unfortunate.
