Quote:That's actually a small part of it but dully noted.  If the murder of Seth Rich was truly investigated, I would suspect that it wasn't just a "botched robbery" as claimed.

This latest "breaking news" and headlines are specifically targeted at President Trump, even though there is no merit or actual facts brought up.  Everything is from "unnamed sources" and supposedly backed by "evidence that they can't broadcast or reveal".

Media propaganda at it's finest.  As I said before.  ((what you say) x (how many times you say it)) x (who you say it to).
All the breaking news and headlines are specifically targeted at dur fuhrer because he's an incompetent buffoon who can't keep from doing something insane. I am glad to see you didn't lose your hypocrisy and lack of consistency with your username though.
Joe Lieberman's name is being floated as Comey's replacement. I'm down with that. Regardless of political affiliation, I believe Lieberman is an equitable man.

Completely agree.  The last D worth voting for I can recall.  That is, until they turned on him and had to go independent in response.
Comey has put himself in quite the pickle.

Testimony under oath.

Ouch.

What was the question under the highlighted text, and hidden by "Copy Look Up Share..."?

Sen. McConnell put forth the name of Merrick Garland. Oh, the irony (and blatantly self-serving).

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“So if the Attorney General or senior officials at the Department of Justice opposes a specific investigation, can they halt that FBI investigation?” Hirono asked.

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“In theory yes,” Comey answered.

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“Has it happened? Hirono asked.

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“Not in my experience,” Comey responded. “Because it would be a big deal to tell the FBI to stop doing something that — without an appropriate purpose.”

<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“It’s not happened in my experience,” Comey said.

I even heard some republicans call him bipartisan.

Not being argumentative, but the thread of the questioning is about the AG or senior officials in the JD, not the President. While your point may be obvious to you, this is as deniably vague as "I hope you can let this go."

Don't forget, he's an attorney.

Quote:<p style="font-family:tahoma;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:medium;">“I mean where oftentimes they give us opinions that we don’t see a case there, and so you ought to stop investing resources in it,” Comey said.

This statement is itself very disturbing.  Sounds like the FBI gets called off cases all the time, and I doubt the Justice Department is actually concerned about allocation of FBI resources.  So it's all political.  One set of rules for the elites and another set for the people.

It drained quite a bit of sludge when he left.
Trump Dropping the Hammer on Comey

by Lisa Frank

Details Comey's history as a fixer for the Clintons and his role in trying to undermine Trump.  An excerpt:

James Comey is a poisonous snake of the highest order… a deep-water Swamp Denizen who has been highly paid to deliberately provide cover for high-level corruption by the Clintons and Obama. He is has been central to trying to destroy the Trump campaign and then the Trump administration from the start. He is as dirty as they come in DC. He had highest-level cover (the FBI no less) and was deep into an effort to eliminate Trump. Trump had to move hard, fast, and at exactly the right time to cut the head off the snake without getting bitten by the snake or being finished by the other swamp denizens.

I have a feeling things are about to get really really bad for the democrats.

The dems have been backpedaling on the impeachment mantra because they realize they've bitten off more than they can chew. They even went so far as to cut the microphone on that blathering idiot Maxine Waters when she began an "Impeach 45" chant at a convention.

These schmohocks talk about impeachment like it is firing someone from Burger King or something.

What amazes me is that they would want Trump gone. Pence would be their worst nightmare as he could make use of the R house and Senate.

Yep.

But half of them think impeachment means Hillary becomes president.

Quote:So It was ok for Obama to say Hillary Clinton did nothing wrong while under investigation from Comey? Little cry baby liberals.
No, it wasn't, but two wrongs don't make the second one right.

Also, there's a line between Obama saying that he didn't believe Hillary had done anything wrong and Trump asking Comey to drop the investigation of Michael Flynn.
