Yes, I root for the Gators as our local team here in N.Florida. That said, I can't help but like Jimbo Fisher, who was on Mike & Mike this morning. The dude is so cool and so real. I look at him then I look at my boy Will Mushchamp and pretty much want to throw up !!
Don't get me wrong, I do like when both teams win since it keeps the local sports bars down here extremely exciting throughout the season but the contrast in personalities between Fisher and Muschamp is so extreme.
Oh well, I guess it's good for the ACC -- Go Pitt.

He's good, but FSU will always be about St. Bobby. It will be tough for anyone to top him. A lot of people will argue that because of the last few seasons of Bowden's reign. But he was the face of FSU sports for years, and there is not a finer person alive.
Perhaps Muschamp would look a lot cooler (running around on the sidelines like a crazy nut) IF they could only beat teams like GA Southern. Instead, our solution is to remove them from the schedule. LOL !!!
Fortunately I can't be jealous of anyone with the name "Jimbo"

It is really unusual for a coach following a legend such as Bowden have the success that Jimbo is having and I'm loving every minute of it. Who knows one day we will have Fisher field at Doak Bowden stadium.

From what I heard she is a Miami fan...so it could be as simple as that. Everything I've read is Jimbo is a pretty decent guy, but who knows. I'm sure people have wanted to punch me in the face, they just didnt tweet about it and I'm not famous. lol

I didn't catch that one, but i did see Bo Pelini on ESPN with the guy down in Miami with his dad on with him. Very cool dude. Great interview and interaction and answers.

Bobby Bowden got FSU to the top and he'll always be well known to Nole fans. It's amazing how FSU has gone from Bobby Bowden to Jimbo Fisher. Great coach after another. The Fishers are an awesome family.

I still remember there was a thread here with "prominent" FSU supporters from this site calling for his ouster. I'm not saying names because I can't recall all of them, but after the national title I was told that thread never happened. lol

Speaking of the Mike Shula days, he was so close to getting Tebow. I'm not saying this would have gotten them to a championship BUT this may have added a few wins and extended his career in Bama. History would have been changed.
... back to Fisher ... the cool thing right now is that I think the transition (bitterness) is pretty much gone so now everyone can see Bobby as the Legend and Jimbo now carrying the torch. Reminds me of Spurrier & Muschamp
