Best of luck to him.

Quote:Caldwell needs to pluck a Tony Gonzalez off next year's draft tree.

We could get Aaron Hernandez, but he's already plucked.
I agree that the waiver wire will be looked at for TEs.  Jensen is not the answer either.

Remind me... Did he get in the end zone last year.....?

I would venture and say yes.
Maybe we should give Zach Miller another shot (braces for the imminent onslaught of rotten tomatoes).

Zach Miller would jump up from his couch in celebration if we called....

And promptly pull a hammy and be out for 6 months.

I'm trying to start up the MS13 street gang out here in Ponte Vedra Beach.  He'd be a good fit.
Quote:Calf strain.. Out for a few days Smile
career over
Quote:Well, that sounds VERY serious. Hopefully he won't require amputation.

He is out longer than when Henderson was carted off for a pinched loaf.
Say what you will.. I think George Wrighster was better than just about any TE we have had in the past decade not named Marcedes, including Kyle "Third Tackle" Brady.
Clay Harbor is expected to miss at least a month with the calf injury per 1010xl.

That speaks more to the lack of good TE's the Jags have had than anything great about Wrighster.

It's not an important position. (sarcasm font)

An excellent plan by HC Gus Bradley and GM Dave Caldwell to injure all the receivers on the team so that Chad Henne & Bortles have excuses to poor performance thus saving Gus & Caldwell in the event of a dismal season for one more year to draft and train the players to success.....

Brillant!
