Since he lives in California, probably pot.

That was my first guess, but I believe he stated before that he wasn't interested in growing that.

Almonds, like everyone else Smile

They're really hard to beat when developing a new ranch.

Honestly, no surgeries. I had two in fourteen months with all of the rehab and recovery that goes along with them all and I am ready to get back to my normal self. Pain meds and muscle relaxers are a necessary evil sometimes but man do they mess with your whole system. I want to get back on a workout schedule and get back in shape. I had to switch to a low carb eating plan as I was feeling sluggish and crappy and I actually went from 147lbs down to 139lbs but it's a 'skinny fat' scenario. I'm 5'10" and I carry weight pretty evenly and well, but I would rather be 140-150lbs of muscle than 139lbs of..... squish. Plus I really hate not being strong and capable.

I am also hoping I get employed after I take state exams for billing and coding which I graduated my class a couple of months ago.
Grow the mullet of my dreams, I'm going to begin writing a book about a relative but that's a long term project. Also planning on writing a screenplay I have been thinking about for a few years.
Quote:It's a rather weird construction that is pretty unique to the area. There are three apartments over four floors. The ground floor is a single apartment with a yard at the back. The first floor and second floors are separate apartments as well and then the third floor is split in half. The front half is part of the apartment on the second floor, the back half is part of the apartment on the first floor. I'm buying the first floor and the back half of the third floor.
That very unique! So everyone is overlapping each other. Sounds titillating!

I may have to make you your own thread...or just add you into Deacon and Rico's thread.

Grapes? For CA Wine? I always wondered what you farmed in CA. Interesting....
(shrug) I dunno.

He grows them for raisins.

I've grown grapes for wine most my life (including helping my dad as a kid), but a half dozen years ago raisins became so much more profitable I took a terrifying leap and switched over.

My variety of grapes, when grown for "wine," actually go to a number of different products though. Probably chiefly juice concentrate. Then wine, then brandy.
I hope to be cancer free. This past 2 years has taken it's toll on my family enough as it is. If I were single, it may be different, but I don't like seeing my family being dragged down by this illness of mine. I would be fine with that alone.

If it makes you feel any better, I've had 5 in the same time period. Not little ones either. They were significant. If my radiation doesn't work, they will reconstruct my entire right arm, basically replacing the humorous. That's two major joint reconstructions on the same limb. Not looking forward to that. Then again, if that doesn't work, they'll amputate my entire right arm and shoulder altogether.

I've never pm'd anybody... I don't know what you've been smokin sistah.
Mostly moving back to the USA and hopefully Florida. Anywhere but the panhandle will do. Already had an interview at Jacksonville Naval Hospital, really hoping to get that job because I like the area I plan to move to. I can renew my season tickets just as the Jags finally make the playoffs (fingers crossed) and win the division. This may sounds crazy but I miss seeing hummingbirds they don't have them here in Europe
