I'm sorry but your idea is flawed on so many levels I just don't even know where to start or if your serious.
Assuming your serious here's the problems with taking CEO income and "redistributing" his income to lower income workers. 1st of all there's nothing wrong with offering low wage low skill employment so penalizing an individual for offering remedial jobs and that's what walmart is a remedial job even in management only incentives them to eliminate the remedial jobs. You already are seeing a move towards the "self-check out" future.

As for Israel I'm a firm supporter of Israel. I believe they are perfectly within their rights to defend themselves, however we can not spend money we do not have. There is nothing noble or honorable about compromising our future to ensure the future of another nation. If Israel wants the United States to be around in 20 year's they'll understand right now we have to fix our mess at home.

This is a big issue to many people in my area of the country. Welfare fraud is rampant. It really is ridiculous.
I'm all for giving assistance to everyone that legitimately need it, as there are many cases that do.
However, there are so many people in my area that have been getting varying forms of "entitlements" for years, that have no business receiving them. There are jobs available, yet they won't (actually refuse to) work. Disability is also severely abused by many here who mow their lawns, dig/plant gardens, work on vehicles and homes,, etc.. Its sickening.
I've worked for a lot of years alongside many peers making a decent "middle class" wage. It sickens many of us to see quite many people in our area that are more than capable of working like us, but won't. And, it seems that they don't struggle as much as we do (no rent/mortgage,, free phones,, food allotments,, clothing allotments,, sizeable disability/SSI checks,, etc.). In all honesty, it makes us that are working feel like we are the big suckers, working everyday when we could go with the fraudulent route too.
Yes, welfare/assistance/entitlement (whatever you want to call it) is a necessary program for many people who legitimately need it. But, I seriously doubt that anyone will ever look to really clean up all the fraud. The more people that are given entitlements (legitimate or not), the more those same people will keep voting for the party/politicians that keep giving them their "free" living. It's all political power play, and it's a big part in wrecking this country's finances,, IMO.

Do you realize in today's society that more and more people are working TWO jobs and are still living below the poverty line with a college education that have to rely on welfare, public housing, financial aid? The gap between Middle and lower class is shrinking to a point where there is poverty-low class-high class.

The Health care system was a screw up BEFORE and will be screwed up during and even after the existence of the ACA. Employers were handing out sub standard benefits and health care before the ACA went into effect.
Again as for Isreal, what makes you think we are compromising our future to protect theirs? The goal of Hamas is to spread the power of Islam and they will start by "wiping Israel off the map". That rhetoric also applies to the U.S. as well. So believe it or not, both U.S. and Israel's futures are tied into each other's hand.
Israel is screwed insomuch as they have pretty much zero support from the US anymore. That's ridiculous and pretty saddening. The thousands who recently protested in Chicago against Israel and in support of Hamas need to take a good long vacation in Gaza or perhaps Syria or Northern Iraq or Maybe even Iran. They will learn pretty darn quick how utterly ignorant and dangerous their stupid stupid stupid actions are.
They (the stupid protestors) live in a free country, so they are free to do so. Hopefully someday it doesn't get a whole lot of people killed.

I'm not a welfare basher I don't belittle nor ridicule people that need help heck I've been there and in many ways I still am.
I argue about what creates those situations and how to fix them. If you've read this thread you would see I openly oppose corporate welfare I believe no company is to big to fail and it was pretty much the kiss of death for me when bush gave the first bailout in 07.
As for welfare here's the reality either it is reformed soon or it won't be available for anyone in the near future. Making states responsible for their own is only a step In the right direction.
Secondly it is not the governments responsibility to create or develop good jobs. The best thing to create good jobs would be for government to stop giving special interest large corporations advantages through legislation.
The ACA did nothing other than mandate you as a private individual be forced by threat of government to purchase a private industries product. Someone who hates the big corporate world I'd assume you'd hate being mandated to purchase a service or face government fines. ACA was practically written by insurance companies.

Size of the next levels of government should be reduced from there, with the federal government being the smallest. If liberalism and large governments are your thing, move to a town/city/county that features one. Do the opposite if if prefer small government. But when the federal government becomes too large, it becomes inescapable. So, me, I'd like to see a massive reduction in the federal government.
Also, pandering politicians will be the death of us. As soon as a population figures out they can vote themselves goodies from the public treasury, a slide towards tyranny begins.

I don't like the ACA. It hit my corporation hard, because we're a medical device manufacturer. In the ACA, there is a yearly 2.5% Excise Tax to any medical device companies. It costs the company approximately 25 Million dollars per year.
The Supreme Court passed ACA because it is a tax. The conservative judge (Roberts? I think) passed it because he said something like "The ACA is essentially just a tax, and the government can constitutionally tax the citizens."
I'm paraphrasing him, of course. But, I'm pretty sure that's what went down.
