If anyone really cared about this poll/ contest, the Phillie Phanatic would win in a landslide. Easily more recognizable than either the LA hockey mascot (which I have never heard of until now) or Jaxson, while more widely known than the LA mascot isn't on the Phanatic's level.
I voted for Jaxson, btw, just to help the cause, but the above point still stands.

Meaning the stunts he's doing in games? - I've seen a lot of what Jaxson does via footage over the years and on youtube. The Phanatic has done pretty much everything that Jaxson has done and probably more, and has been doing it for decades (since the 1970's). Has Jaxson ever jumped out of a plane and parachuted into the stadium? The Phanatic has....
I think Jaxson is actually a lot like the Phanatic in his theatrics and is overall one of the better mascots, but the one thing that kills it for Jaxson is the rest of the costume other than the head is lame and makes the "cat" look anorexic. They need to fill out the rest of the costume a little more.

Not to get into a piss contest but the nightlife is better in Philly than Jax. Even many Jax locals have moaned about the Jax scene being boring with the lack of places to go.
Both Philly & Jax have their negatives as far as crime and bad sections of the city and so forth.
Jaxson is good but not better than the Phanatic. As said, the Phanatic has done everything Jaxson has done and was the originator of this type of theatrics. He's been doing similarly styled stunts for almost 50 years now.
I also never imagined the mascot thread would have reached 6 pages. Wasn't my doing. I just posted in it recently.

Thats more like it (what he should look like). OK perhaps I stand corrected with that part. But there was several instances of seeing Jaxson doing some stunt or promotion where he was in his head part of the costume, but the rest seemed like an anorexic cat. lol.
But thats neither here nor there...what makes the Phanatic better is he is the original of this type of mascot. (theatrics/ personality) Imitations are never
better than the original.

The night life is more centralized for sure, and has more. But if you want a good night life atmosphere/entertainment, it is here.

I think one of the times it was just at a Jaguars function where Shad & co was speaking, so in that instance I doubt it was a safety issue, but in other instances it very well could have been.
