This period between the draft and the preseason matches is dull.


So, if you were in charge of the NFL, how would you make it more interesting for fans of the sport ?


Play the college games in the summer ? Move the free agent period back to June ? Introduce some sort of international 'B' League ?


None of those ideas are perfect of course, but can you think of a genius idea to keep us going ?

Nothing.  Everyone needs a break. 

Some players need this time to serve suspension time and make court appearances.
