Tommy Ramone, last of the Ramones, dies
 

NEW YORK (AP) - A business associate says <b>Tommy Ramone</b>, a co-founder of the seminal punk band The Ramones and the last surviving member of the original group, has died.

Dave Frey, who works for Ramones Productions and Silent Partner Management, says Ramone's wife called to tell him he died on Friday. He didn't have additional details early Saturday. Ramone was 62.

I remember watching the video of "I wanna be sedated" many moons ago on MTV. Must have been a hard partying group, they were relatively young.
This is a bummer.

<b>Thomas Erdelyi</b> (born <b>Erdélyi Tamás</b>; January 29, 1952 – July 11, 2014), also known by his stage name <b>Tommy Ramone</b>, was a Hungarian American record producer and musician.<sup>[1]</sup><sup>[2]</sup> He was the drummer of the influential punk rock band the Ramones. He had been diagnosed with <a class="" href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bile_duct_cancer' title="Bile duct cancer">bile duct cancer</a>, and was in hospice care following unsuccessful treatment for it when he died on July 11, 2014.<sup>[3]</sup>
