Anyone else a fan?

They need to get Wieland back, but have liked most of their music.

If you're not a fan or just a casual observer, you'll probably remember them best by this one:

One of my favs from their first album Core:  nice live performance here, btw...

Huge fan. I saw them 2 or 3 years ago and they sounded so good I was convinced they were using backing tracks for the first 30 minutes.

Popular song from their 2nd record, Purple...

I saw them back in the 1990's, and was also impressed at their live sound.

You probably got the better version. Weiland was a little impaired when I saw him. Still sounded great though.

I've seen him with Velvet Revolver a few times too. Always sounded good.
This first single from their 3rd album represented somewhat of a change from their signature sound

Another song from that 3rd album that was surprise musically, jazzy little ditty...

Their best known single from their 4th record,...the very odd video'd SourGirl:

Finally....this song from their 4th album has an almost country feel/ sound to it.

Well, they did sound really good, but make no mistake...Weiland was still impaired. ha ha

Really liked Velvet Revolver too.

That crossed my mind as I was typing my post.  :teehee:
Great band.  I really enjoyed them in their heyday.  The unplugged version of Plush is outstanding too.

One of my karaoke staples!
No one else??  -_-
STP's first album is a must have for anyone who is into 90's style rock/grunge/alt metal. Definitely one of my favorite albums. Very Alice in Chains-esque feel to it.

Cool thing about STP is they have a demo out from their early days when they were called Might Joe Young and if you listen to the tape, they have some really interesting sounding stuff. Some lyrics they use in the demo are used in completely different songs. Plus this song here is one of my favorite songs by STP/Mighty joe young, whatever you wanna call them. Great sounding song.

STP definitely changed a ton from each album, but I did enjoy their first 3 for the most part, after that, only a few songs per album I could really enjoy.

Also, STP does a fantastic cover of Led Zeps "Dancin' Days"

Nice one! I almost forgot about that. They played that live when I saw them back in the 90's.

Awesome.

I really missed out on all the good live acts of the 90's, being born in 1990.
