Should we interview him?

We already had a guy who was a far better talker than he was a coach.

For a DC, i think he could make this D great. It has the personel for exactly what he wants to do

This.  Not sure I'd want him as a DC necessarily, but I wouldn't be opposed to it.  As a HC though, no friggin way.

Not going to lie, it would be a little tempting to have a Wade Phillips-level coach as a DC.

There'd be a move to 3-4 which might be a good thing with this roster.

There is nothing wrong with this defense

Coughlin at HC and Ryan at DC is something I could get on board with tho.

The LEO/OTTO thing is what's wrong with this defense and it doesn't utilize all of the talent. Myles Jack being a prime example of that
