If you like Zombie stuff, you might like The Last of Us Remastered.

I've been wanting to get a PS4 myself. Right now, I'm still good with my PS3 which I got in 2010, if I remember correctly, and it is still in awesome condition. My plan was to wait until after the holidays in case they drop the price and/or they make a few changes to the console.
My plan is to trade in my PS3 and all the accessories and games for a new PS4. I think I can get a good deal.
Snowwolf, as far as action games, like the post above me, I also highly recommend The Last of Us.

Quote:Remember the Xbox One is down to $399 now too. Good luck and enjoy your new console. Thanks to Microsoft's stupid anti-consumerist bullcrap I will not be buying an Xbone any time soon. Not even now the new Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive.

I still think the base idea of xbone's family share was the best digital drm I've seen from any video game company thus far.

Because DRM only serves to meet a need of the companies, not the consumers. The only thing that can be done to make DRM acceptable is to create convenience for the costumer. Steam is a great example of this trade-off.

Being able to share your games is a positive thing for customers, I'm not speaking of all of their early policies such as the 24 hour check ins, just the family share (restricting a game so it can only be accessed by one person at a time in family share) to me that was fair drm, that pushed digital ownership forward.
Then again I personally don't find all DRM bad (though there are a lot of bad ones), and at the end of the day publishers have to have someway to protect their investments.

Assassins Creed is always a good action game Wolf.. especially if you like Pirates. For those who have Ps4 are the graphics system really that much better than Ps3? just wondering if it's worth the price.

thank you all for all the info, and help with everything. MY ps4 is ready for use now, i just need the game to play. As you all know titians haven't beaten me on a madden game since they were oilers, but that was all on a Nintendo System. That makes my winning streak, and undeafted streak blank now right? Cause its a new system I never played before.

I plan on getting a PS4, just waiting for certain games like Uncharted 4. I need to clear my backlog on the PS3 and Steam first too. I'll probably buy a Wii U in the future as well, some of their exclusives look awesome.

I would try, and get the WiiU first. Nintendo is going out of busuines. My dad has been saying that since early this year. I believe him.

Nonetheless, I doubt they will go out of business, but I am sure that business is dwindling for them.

Nintendo has enough money, that they could actually lose $250 million a year for 40 years, and still stay in business.
They make a lot of money off of their handhelds. They've dominated the handheld market for a long time. Of course smartphone games are starting to kill their dominance. The 3DS has done well -- but not nearly as well as the DS. Pokemon is far too profitable for Nintendo to ever go out of business in the near future.
It would take some seriously bad investments to knock Nintendo out. Though it's certainly understandable why some would think that Nintendo could be going out of business. The WiiU has failed. They could very well get out of the console business, and stick to handhelds. Though I don't think it's likely (We'll see them try at least once more).
Nintendo can get back up with the next console generation. It will help if they're willing to embrace some of the things customers want, and if they get a new name for their console. There's nothing wrong with the name Wii. But Wii 2 would have done better than Wii U I think. People just want more from their gaming media now. I know my kids have no interest in the WiiU, though they love their wii and 3DS's.
That's not to say Nintendo should give in, and start changing the types of games that go on their system. Rather that they should try to add features to their systems that people are interested in.

It'll improve markedly in the coming year or so as developers learn how to program for the system and improve the graphics without needing more power from the console.
