I think we all know what shorts is capable of, But from a fantasy draft perspective, which receivers do you think will be worth a late round flyer to develop?

I'm torn between lee and Robinson, but I think sanders will have the most value and will end up being a playmaker this year.  Of course we'll have to see how preseason goes, but so far I'm between sanders and Robinson, sanders for the screen potential, and Robinson for the Red zone jump ball threat.

I do my best to avoid drafting Jaguar players period. Aside from MJD in his prime years your setting yourself up for trouble drafting most jags for fantasy purposes.

I've taken that approach as well, I got shorts two years ago when he was doing great while blackmon was here, and my friend drafted him last year while i took justin on the bench for his suspensions, I won because the games he played and got some nice points I played against my friend, but overall was disappointing after he got suspended again. I also drafted Gordan last year too despite his suspension but injuries killed my season and I went from second (my other friend drafted peyton and almost insta won the league) to 5th but still almost scored the most points.

MAYBE if he's there later on I'd take a flyer on Gerhart but usually drafting Jaguars is the kiss of death in fantasy football.

I did that one year but it was just to much for me trying to keep up with defensive individual stats. Hats off to the guys that can do it

My IDP Dynasty 50 man roster league is incredibly fun.
ace sanders will be a big fansty  this year for fansty owners

I'd leave them all alone for now. Nobody except a Jags fan will even pick them, so wait and see how they progress in preseason before utilizing one of your picks on them. Gerhart is the only player worth drafting from the Jags right now. I'm targeting him as a RB3, but I think he will show that he is worthy of an RB2 start as the season progresses. There are too many unknowns at WR for the Jags right now, so wait until Week 1 or 2 and then grab the one that seems to have the most chemistry with whichever QB is starting. Hurns may turn out to be a stud, and Lewis may once again be a formidable threat at TE.

I'm taking part in a new 16 team dynasty league. I did pick up a couple of Jags player for my bench:

- Marqise Lee: might not do like Keenan Allen did last season, but hopefully he can turn into a decent receiver further down the line. Worthy stash, plus you never know he could turn into a viable option...

- Jordan Todman: might sound odd adding our backup RB, but he had a good start last season and is capable if Gerhart suffers with injuries. Well worth stashing him on the bench.

I was tempted to add Allen Robinson, but I went for Andre Holmes instead who is a starter on the Raiders depth chart. Ace is still available in my league, but I'm not convinced what role he'll play this season.

For me, the receivers like Lee, Robinson and Ace might be worth picking up in dynasty leagues as stash options for the future. Whereas the likes of Gerhart and Shorts should be productive players in normal leagues, and Todman could be worth a stash/keeping an eye on if Gerhart suffers with injuries.
