Predicts once again that he will rush for 2,000 yards, it sounds like a broken record with him, even though he falls woefully short of that every time around the carousel. I think he fits perfectly in the locker room culture with the Jets, loud and delusional.

lol he did it once, years ago, and all he's done since is predict its re-occurence, unsuccessfully every year. I'm tired of it. Shut the hell up Chris Johnson, you suck and you're never, ever going to get 2000 yards again, probably won't even come close again.

it doesnt matter if he is a celebrity or an nfl athlete who has done it once. he has proclaimed on several occasions that he would do it again and has failed every time. its also only been done 7 times ever and running backs are used less and less every season. the odds of him doing it are an unrealistically low percentage. whether i am in the nfl or not, it logically does not even come close to making sense to make that proclamation and furthermore even if someone has the talent to do it, it causes an unnecessary distraction to that franchise.
i actually hope they do a "chris johnson watch" all season and show how woefully far he is from his goal each week. that would be entertaining to me.

Johnson was a flash in the pan who got paid handsomely by the tacks. He has nothing to complain about.

He shouldn't talk to the media about outrageous expectations if he didn't expect criticism. My guess is that he doesn't care what we say, and you value the words on this message board a whole lot more than he does.

This is exactly why Johnson has sucked ever since that 2000 yard season. He will continue to only look for the home run play each carry instead of doing his job and letting the big play happen organically.
