Trump is definitely his own worst enemy. His reckless statements are exasperated by a MSM which is openly out to get him. However this presidency ends, there has been one positive aspect. There is no longer any doubt that a vast majority of people hiding behind the badge of journalistic objectivity and neutrality are actually virulent ideologists. The people we were supposed to trust for reporting the facts are now, undeniably, a wing of the democrat party.
This is ultimately about Pedogate and total control of those who are placed in power.  They have nothing on Trump and it's freaking them out.

Next Christmas we can all get a "Trump Bonehead Action of the Day" calendars! Will be a large collection to pull from.

I believe that's actually called "Daily Fake News Item to Be Outraged By" calendar.
Quote:I don't see a madman.  I see a guy the media wants to portray as such because he's not part of their acceptable clique, like John Kasich or any other RINO you want to trot out there as an acceptable president.  He's not part of the machine, and that's why there's such an appeal to those who are so opposed to the establishment, and why there's so much hatred directed at him by you and those who worship at the foot of the same establishment.

He's brilliant in how he gets everyone to show their hand.  Effortless.  Every move he makes, every breath, every tweet... his enemies overstep, overspeak, and overreach at every turn... exposing themselves (and not caring or realizing their folly.)

He has to, it's not like he's got many friends on either side of the aisle.  The career politicians are out for themselves.  He's the outsider among the swamp ghouls and embedded deep state leeches.

I blame the plurality of R primary voters. 16 other choices and they pick the 13yo mind coupled with narcissism and no impulse control.

I'm still waiting for them to apologize.

But instead they rant on about the 'binary choice' between Hitlary and Trump but the Trump shitshow was pre-ordained. Nobody that knew his history is surprised of this train wreck.

They are destroying history.

There will be no objective coverage any longer, just cheerleaders on both sides of the argument exaggerating each side of the seesaw - one in direct and opposite response to the other.

Objectivity doesn't get ratings.  Traditional "news" is officially dead.

Still too deep dipped to admit he is and was the better candidate?

You're the reason we'll never be repaired as a country.  You never have, and never will accept his Presidency.

It's not as all as you're continuing to pretend and will always pretend it to be.
Personally, I see the events that are unfolding as a great lesson regarding the legalities of politics.  It's so educational in most every measure of the daily events.

At least it's being brought to light not the last time not the first time the Clinton's have directly or indirectly had someone taken out.
The biggest lesson to learn here is how to handle ourselves as citizens.

When nothing improper has been done, don't fantasize the opposite.

We cannot let our feelings get in the way of intellect.

Just because we dislike someone or did not vote for someone, does not make his or her every move or statement a crime.

It doesn't help when the media is being dishonest as well.  Dishonesty breeds dishonesty.  The falsehoods become reality, if the ignorant believe them.

Trump wants to run this country like Putin.  He fires Comey then meets with Russians 1 day after.  He leaks classified information that was provided by Israel to the Russians (who are allies with Syria and Iran .... pretty much Israels 3 worst enemies).

Trump is a good businessman but does not understand business in the political arena.   It kind of reminds me of sales personnel in the commercial world slipping a client $10k on the golf course for some additional business whereas if that same sales person goes to lunch with a Gov Rep, they can't even pay for their $26 meal without violating the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) ---  you gotta know the rules to do business in the Government World.

Proof of said "leak" of classified information to Russia?

I find it kind of amusing that some reporters are even saying that they know of this "classified information", but were asked not to report it. (link from CNN)  What is wrong with that picture?  Think about it...

Liberals take fiction as fact. In fact, they splatter so much crap against the wall to increase the probability of being able to say "told you so".

The problem here is, if this information is so "classified" then reporters have no business knowing it.  IF President Trump shared classified information with the Russian government (highly unlikely) and the media knows what it is, that means that there is a serious breach of security somewhere.

Talk about "fake news", this is a huge example of it.
Pretty funny that this fake news is considered real to some folks.

Family and investigator both deny the story.

"Asked about the attention the new report received from right-leaning outlets, Brad Bauman, a representative for the Rich family, said the family condemned the attempt to politicize Rich's death.

"It's sad but unsurprising that a group of media outlets who have repeatedly lied to the American people would try and manipulate the legacy of a murder victim in order to forward their own political agenda," Bauman told Business Insider. "I think there is a special place in hell for people like that."

It's not about politicizing his death, it's about the truth.

Explain how it was a "robbery gone bad" when he was shot in the back twice and nothing was taken from him.

Tell that to his family. Not me.

Just calling out the hypocrisy of the always screaming fake news then getting behind fake news 100%.

Remember, it was the left who invented "fake news" so reality could be whatever they deem it to be.

Your backwards worldview is proof.

Trump firing Comey is cleaning up Obama's mess  Comey should have been fired in July of last year.  The fact that Comey was fired now means nothing other than Trump lost confidence in his ability to actually lead the FBI.  Nothing Putinesque about it.  I know you folks on the left think he's trying to kill the Russian investigation, but the reality is, that investigation continues regardless of whether Comey is there or not.  The difference is, there won't be some glory hound racing to find a camera to play Attorney General instead of doing his job as the FBI director.

I love the suggestion that you've gotta know the rules to do business in the Government World.  Please. That's the logic that has put this country $20 trillion in debt.  The "Government World" of doing business is a miserable failure.  Someone who ACTUALLY understands how things work in the real world recognizes that instantly.  The problem with someone like Trump stepping into the fray to try to resolve that is that there are career government employees from stem to stern who will do everything in their power to gum up the works for any real type of reform, so the only way to make any real changes requires someone who is willing to go completely nuclear on things like this to actually return the government to a leaner, more efficient operation that isn't just this bloated bureaucracy that gobbles up everything in its path and still needs more than it can possibly take in.
