I was just watching some rugby and got thinking - every sport has it's own great traditions and special moments that get fans going. Obviously the Jags have their own (the bell, Jackson doing his zip line jumps etc), but I was curious which ones you guys love from other sports and teams?
My personal fave is the New Zealand All Black (and other south sea island) Haka's - would love to see the Jags lined up laying down the challenge to other teams by doing this each Sunday - spine chilling! I've been in the crowd for these, and I can tell you I've never in all my life seen anything more intimidating, or anything turn a stadium atmosphere more electric. Imagine Gus Bradley leading one of these...

If I saw an American football team doing that before a game I'd think I accidentally turned on the WWF!
I really enjoy when they do the Haka pre game. Good stuff there.
Rugby players are real men.
The best overall has to be the full panoply of college football traditions: Osceola's flaming spear, Auburn's eagle circling the stadium, Ohio State and the dotted i, UF and the 4th quarter singing, etc.
Considering the volume, variety, and passion behind those traditions nothing else in the sports' world comes close.

University of Hawaii football team does something similar to that.

When you're good you can do that kind of stuff and it looks great. Can you imagine the Jags doing that last year prior to their games against Seattle and San Fran !! lol.
For me it would be Script Ohio at Ohio State.
-I like the Clemson entrance
-Pie in the face after a walk off homer
-Exchanging of jerseys in soccer postgame
-The hockey handshake line when a series is over
-The Gatorade Bath
-I'm a Gator, but Chief Osceola planting the spear at midfield is cool. (Someone check with the jtmoney and bigjohn book of fandom if I am ok with that  )
-Hockey playoff beards

Ew, the frat boy in red and yellow paint with the toy spear is a disgrace
In college football there are so many neat traditions all around, but unless you actually attend a game in person you never know about most of them. We just get to see the ones that ESPN has deemed special I guess.

Don't see much of them around here...lol

Yeah their team hasn't had much spotlight since their 2007 season.

I don't think that is intimidating at all. Comical, actually.

Is it just my imagination or is the white dude about 6 inches off of the ground.
When you're a 6'8 315 lb. future 1st round draft pick, you get some leeway when touching the banner.

Can't say that I find it intimidating either...I kept waiting for them to start in with "jazz hands"
I'm sure it's more of a "you have to be there" thing. If I see a lion growl on YouTube I think "hey, that's cool". If I saw a Lion grown 10 feet in front of me I'd think "aahhhhh F......."

Naw...it's hard to get really scared by guys in knee socks and shorts.
