per rotoworld:
Rams signed No. 2 overall pick LG Greg Robinson to a four-year contract.
Although he was a mauling left tackle at Auburn, Robinson will begin his NFL career at left guard. HOFer Jonathan Ogden and longtime Colts LT Tarik Glenn both took the same early-career route. Robinson is eventually ticketed for the blindside in St. Louis, where Jake Long is a short-term fix. As a rookie, Robinson and Long will form a formidable left side for the Rams. A sensational athlete for his size (6-foot-5, 332 pounds), Robinson doesn't turn 22 until October. He's a massive, powerful human who is ready to clear running lanes. We love Robinson's addition for the fantasy stock of Zac Stacy.
It shouldn't be too much longer now before Bortles signs.
I suspect the final Jaguar rookies will sign within the next couple of weeks. Nothing to squabble about under the new CBA. It's pretty cut and dried. I imagine the timing of these deals these days are affected more by things like the timing of vacations taken by those involved and such more than actual negotiations.
I think I will miss those crazy talks we all used to have over holdouts though. There will never be another discussion about a top Jags pick practicing against folding chairs while held up in a local hotel, ala Derrick Harvey. Ah, the good old days......

Haha Dakota....the board used to have some knockdown drag-out's over those, I remember.
That said, I think its a pretty safe bet we'll all prefer this way with all the Jags rookies signed & ready on time.
Even though, Blackmon was still a holdout under this new system, but that was sort of a special case, given the timing of his incident that summer.
Btw.....I actually don't remember what you're referencing re: Harvey.....maybe I was on one of my little "time outs" then.... :whistling:

While Harvey was holding out, he was staying at a local hotel. He later described how he would line up lawn chairs or folding chairs or something, and practice against those in the hotel room. I guess it didn't translate to the NFL level.......
PS: for all intents and purposes, it appears that Blackmon is still holding out.....
Edit: or should I say for all intensive porpoises.

Ahh, I see.
Well, if he put as much effort into the above "practice" as he did in that video of his MMA "training", then we can see why

Yes, its intensive purposes. GET IT RIGHT!!!
....Otherwise your whole point falls on death ears, and your point is mute.
