LOL at this dude.  The irony and audacity of his tweet:

Yeah, I'd say J Martin deserves one of Shag's

WOW('s)........

on that.

Kendall Lankford has a point, though...

I can understand if the cramp happened at the beginning of the game or maybe right before half-time where it would have given the trainers enough time to get him hydrated with IVs stuff. But it happened in the middle of the 4th quarter...I'm not sure what they can do for him then.

I've had the occasional leg cramps just from waking up in the morning or a nap, but they usually last, at most, a couple of minutes.  Anyone here who's an athlete care to share how painful it is to have leg cramps from fatigue and dehydration?  How bad is it compare to the normal cramp and how long does it last?
This is hilarious.  Ohh the power and amusement of social media:

who would've thought sports drink selections would be so entertaining.

Because being a victim of bullying is the same thing?

It's more of calling another grown man out when as a grown man, you curled up and got soft on something less physical

From my limited time as an athlete it is very painful. You are very conscious of your eating and dietary habits as well as workout regimen. Small tweaks can greatly improve or diminish performance. In the case of lebron he was derailed because he just lost to much water and electrolytes. He is aware of how much to put in his body and the type of climate he will play in. However if the climate changes and changes very rapid then changes can occur very quickly without much he can do.

The heat basically drained to much water from his body. Muscles hold water and Lebron is a very muscle dense individual. He lost more water than he was prepared for and there you have your result. It was very smart on behalf of the spurs to kill the AC because the conditioning for those elements are much different.

Hydration for the day always takes place the day before. So gulping down water and Gatorade at that moment in time would have been useless
first off, Jonathan martin is virtually irrelevant in the sports world except for the only bit of fame he has for being softer than a thrift store sweater.

second, Lebron is like 260. Conditioned or not when your body is hauling around that much mass, the heat gets to you a lot worse than it would to someone like ginobli who weighs like 100 lbs.

He really doesn't.

But how much worse it is compare to a regular muscle spasm/leg cramp from sleep?

As for LeBron, I just don't understand the venom some people have for him. I understand "The Decision" was a bad decision -- get it? Lol. But if you're a sport fan, you're are witnessing greatnest in basketball, and once LeBron is gone, you won't ever see another athlete like him again.

Skip Bayless is a master troller whose purpose for ESPN is to stir the pot and create controversy, especially when it comes to the LeBron-hate, Tebow-love, and Manziel-lust, but he just hit a new low on First Take today.
People think they're so tough insulting Lebron over social media.

Its much worse because it is an actual dehydration of the muscles as opposed to just sleeping wrong and a muscle kinking up on you.

On the subject of "The Decision". The thing most people don't know about that is that he did it to raise money for the boys and girls club. He did not want to do a special on ESPN about it but one of his people told him that he could raise money for charity by doing it. Its funny that when I tell most people about this, their opinion of him changes. To me it bothered me that he did "The Decision" but after learning that it made me appreciate the individual his is even more.

He should have just tweeted" Oh my gosh.Awul,"

These Dolphin or ex Phins players just don't know how to use social media.

Just seemed like the right moment for these athletes to pimp their stuff and make some gas money..

I don't know what the difference is, a cramp is a muscle spasm. It is excruciating; on a pain scale it hurts as bad as a torn tendon or ligament (never broken a bone but I think that is worse?). It also is paralyzing, which make the people who say LeBron should have played through the pain sound like idiots; you literally can't use that muscle. Even when you are just standing the muscles are contracting, that's why most people go to the ground for leg cramps because it's the only way to not use the muscles.

There are other, less "look at me" ways to do charity work. I'd say it's more likely that the people that you think you are swaying are probably just trying not to hurt your feelings regarding your Lebron mancrush. I chuckled at the notion that Lebron didn't want to do "The Decision" but decided to put his hometown team through the humiliation anyway all in the name of charity.

If someone told you you could make $200 each time you go to the bathroom if you announced it on ESPN. Would you?

He made money by just announcing what he was going to do anyway, its a no-brainer to me.

Lol for one I don't have a Lebron man crush but I respect him as a player. I'm not a heat fan but I enjoy one-on-one style of basket ball. And it's interesting to say it was a "look at me" way to do charity but had you ever known that to be the case until I just said something? Reading comprehension is key in cognitive development as a child. I told you someone told me that and it changed my opinion, not that I stubbornly fight for Lebron at all cost.

For one Cleveland is not his home town so let's put that out there.

And neither one of us has the type of Brand that can generate 2.5 million dollars just to say where we are going to work for the next few years. Maybe you should focus on not hating the guy so much. Larry Bird dosn't play anymore.
