I was reading that the falcons owner was suggesting the possibility of more international series games. And games in cities other than London.

So where else would you like the games played ? Rome ? Paris ? Dublin ? Berlin ?

Or should we just stop at London ?
I doubt Dublin, Paris/ Berlin could be especially as they're quite close to Amsterdam and iirc the Dutch nfl Europe franchise was quite popular? Though if in Germany id assume it would be in munich at the Allianz arena? Doubtful it happens though
I know the NFL wants to spread their game, but anyone who's been to Europe knows that Football to them is like Soccer (Football) to us.

I just don't see football making it over there.

Except that soccer is very much alive and growing in the US...
Mexico City, Tokyo Sydney

These are great picks. I can see all three of these countries to like football.
If anywhere, its Mexico City.

Hahahahahaha.

No.
I think they would maybe get some interest here in Australia for one game but the trip would be so long in regular season it would be a killer for both teams

People have said soccer is growing in the US for the past 20-30 years.  It's growing, but its not going that fast.

Poseurs.

Remember the "American Bowl"? The 5th preseason game outside of the HoF game? Mexico City still holds the record for biggest crowd draw for a NFL game at 112k people.
I mentioned yesterday in another thread that I thought London was just a prelude to further expansion in Europe.  If the league winds up putting a team in London, it's only a matter of time before they expand that to other nations in Europe in order to create a division over there.  The league could expand to make this a reality.

Do I think that would happen?  Probably not.  But, Goodell wants to be remembered as a visionary when his time at the helm comes to an end, and anything is possible.

Despite what the NFL has been saying, I don't think there is enough interest for European-based teams. It's popular at the moment because it's still a novelty and because we get to see American teams playing each other. The moment we have to start watching London vs Paris instead of Miami vs Oakland I think people will lose interest.

Having said that, things might change in ten or twenty years, once we get used to the fixtures.

I don't think many would disagree, but that doesn't mean that's what the league envisions.  Goodell wants an international presence.
