Quote:Yeah, we never have had a WR wear 88 have we?.....at least not a good one, because I don't remember it.
Zach Potter wore it...before that I don't recall a WR or TE wearing it.

Wish Lee would have just taken 81 or 82. Yes Jags, its friggin overdue to let another WR wear 82 for Gods sake. Its been 10 years now.

P.S. Been on this board for years and just want to say I'm digging the new positive attitude TMD and I too believe we are on the right track finally.

Quote:Well, not ALL of those were utter/ abject failures....
Some actually provided decent value or appropriate value per their cost.
I'd say Wilford gave decent value for a 4th rounder...
I also liked Bobby Shaw. I still remember the punt return TD he had vs the Eagles in 2002 that pretty much nailed the coffin shut in that game.
Northcutt and Edwards were serviceable, and neither cost all that much to obtain. I think Edwards was a waiver claim or something.
Quote:Didn't the Big Sofa wear 88?
Quote:Wilford is the ONLY draft pick that was even serviceable for where he was selected and even he didn't last long. Shaw made one play but other than that was a pretty [BAD WORD REMOVED] poor WR and only lasted here for one season. Northcutt was actually given 5/17 with 4.5 mil guaranteed and didn't do anything to live up to that. Edwards was cheap, but was never going to be an answer here long term. The only other one I would consider OK for his draft slot was MSW, but again success was fleeting for him. The bottom line is we have missed on a disgusting amount of players at the WR position. The only groups that rival it as far as ineptitude are QB's in Cleveland and pass rushers here.
Quote:Well I guess we were due, since we hit such home runs with our first 2 FA's at WR.
