Quote:According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, police ticketed Gordon for speeding over Memorial Day weekend. A passenger in the vehicle was cited for marijuana possession after the officer detected the odor of it in the vehicle.

Gordon allegedly was driving his Mercedes Benz SUV 74 miles per hour in a 60-mph zone on Sunday, May 25.

The third-year wideout faces a one-year suspension under the league’s substance-abuse policy. His appeal is pending and, in theory, a decision could come at any time.

Regardless of whether he beats the current suspension, Gordon must submit to up to 10 drug tests per month. If Gordon is around marijuana smoke, he could end up testing positive even if he didn’t actually smoke it.

For a player trying to appeal a substance abuse violation it sure doesn't look good being around people in possession of the substance you are fighting a suspension about.
And that's all she wrote if he tests positive.

He's gotta be an absolute moron.

No leniency at this point.

another waste of a ton of talent.

Done.

You can't test positive for a marijuana drug test from second hand pot smoke

It's ashamed to see both Gordon and Blackmon going down this path

Just like you can't get cancer from second hand smoke?

Look it up buddy... And everyone knows you can get cancer from second hand smoking

I looked this up and I don't want to get into a thing, but you can test positive from from second hand smoke.  The idea that you cannot is apparently a well circulated myth. Second hand smoke can leave traces of THC in one's bloodstream if exposed to second hand smoke.

You can get high from second hand smoke but it's almost impossible to fail a drug test from it. My aunt works for LabCorp and does all the drug testing and blood work
That's speeding?

Lots of rioting in the AA community during Memorial Day, so its probably preventive DWB.

I am not a very smart man but you are saying that you can get enough thc in your body to get high but it won't show up in your system.

Please educate me and explain how that works.

It'll look even worse after he's tested.

You can indeed test positive from 2nd hand smoke regardless of your aunt's expert opinion as someone who takes samples at LabCorp.

Would you drive 14 mph over the speed limit if you noticed a police car on the road?
