Maybe Gerald McCoy, other than that, the 2015 FA class isn't that impressive. Our biggest needs following this season will be S and DT.

Too early for me to think about it. Ask me at mid season.

The TE class is deep and heavy it just depends on who resigns. At first I thought we would draft a TE in the 2nd or 3rd next year but when I look at the TE free agent class I think that position will be one of the free agents we sign next year.
Jermaine Gresham
Jordan Cameron
Jacob Tamme
Julius Thomas
Charles Clay
Kyle Rudolph
Jimmy Graham
Graham is probably a lock to get resigned but alot of those players could be a real possibility here. Especially Gresham, with Cin addition of Eifert, Cameron, Clay, Rudolph, and Thomas who I dont think Den will resign because of the contract he will most likely want, they will believe they can get similar production from another TE with Manning. All except Tamme are top 10 TE.
DT has a few players I think Dave will take a look a
Nick Fairley
Jurrell Casey
BJ Raji

Terrence Cody
Probably Raji Dave will take a hard look at for our NT. Would be great if Dave could get Cody and Gus get him to play like his Bama days
Oline has a couple options
Maurkice Pouncey
C
Stefan Wisniewsk
C
Mike Iupati G
Would be great if we could get either one of them but all three will most likely get resigned
CB
Walter Thurmond
We took a hard look at him this off season but he went Giants and signed a one year deal
Those are some of my top guys I hope Dave looks at next year

Of that list the only ones I'd like to see Jax persue would be Graham, Rudolph, Cameron or Thomas, and I can't see any of that 4 reaching FA.

Not really interested in any of these for the money it would prob cost.

Would like any of these, but they probably all get re-signed.

Nah, we should be fine at CB with Colvin and Gratz

Quote:Nah, we should be fine at CB with Colvin and GratzObviously you dont know who Gresham and Clay are
You have no idea how much money those DTs would cost, none of them would break the bank as you think
Again I said they will probably get resigned but you have no idea who will get resigned
You have no idea if we will be fine with Colvin who is a rookie that is coming of an ACL injury that hasnt even played a down and Gratz 2nd year that was out about 6 games last year from injury. You also need more than 2 CBs which Im sure you didnt know that either.
So which 2015 free agents do you like as of right now?

If Clay has another good year, he will demand a pretty good contract. I hope Dave is willing to pay it because I think he will be very good.

Fairley is a decent player but he is a turd. Doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that the team would be interested in.
05-27-2014, 09:36 AM
I don't see a guy like Gresham or Rudolph being real upgrades over Lewis. Especially for the money they would command. The team would be much better off drafting a tight end.

I don't know who Gresham & Clay are? What are you, high??.....
Gresham is flat out overrated and Clay doesn't impress me. Then again, you like Marcedes, IIRC, so this explains a lot....
I thought I pretty much did answer your question already above...

His momma call him Clay. Imma call him Clay.

2015 will be a big year for FA WRs potentially.

So what 2015 free agents would you like us to look at?

Gresham is pretty good. I think he hasnt been used up to his potential but i also wouldnt throw a ton of money at him. He is definitely an upgrade in the passing game and hes a lot younger.

He's margianally better than Marcedes. No thanks, unless much cheaper....which is prob unlikely.

I already listed the players from the OP's list that I would approve of. If you have trouble reading, thats your problem.
