Man....he's on track to throw for 5000 yards AGAIN. It's insane when it's only happened 8 times previously, and he's done it 4 of them. Two more average seasons and he'll be number one all time.

And yet not in the pro bowl lol.



Drew brees is in a class of his own.


To bad ge didn't have a defense to go with his offence.

I say we trade for both Brees and Payton

  IMO,  Drew Brees deserves to be a 1st ballot HOFer.   He was on a mission against the Bucs yesterday,  even after the Saints were eliminated from the playoffs earlier in the day.    If not for 3 dropped passes,  his stats would have been even better.

 

  It's ridiculous that both Matthew Stafford  (  8 comeback wins in the 4th QTR or later,  an NFL record for a season )  and Drew Brees weren't voted to the Pro Bowl.   Amazingly,  Kirk Cousins is the 1st NFC QB alternate,  ahead of Stafford and Brees.  

 

  Three things about Drew Brees that jump out on this end are his timing,  pocket presence,   and accuracy.    Not bad for a QB who didn't even go in Round 1 back in 2001!

And he goes over 5000 yards passing early on in the 3rd quarter. Amazing. Man that guy is fun to watch.

If the Jags had a QB like Drew Brees they would be AFCS division contenders every year and could also win a playoff game or 2, especially with the right HC.

About week 12 next season, he should hit 70,000 career passing yards. He's about 5900 from #1 all time. All from a 2nd Rd pick/castoff from the Bolts. Lol
