Lower leg injury. Del Rio curse strikes at the worst time.
Cue seldomrite to post some stupid [BLEEP] about Carr being fragile....
Damn, what is it with QBs getting hurt today? Hope he's okay. Who's the backup, still McGloin?
Broken fibula. That sucks.
Poor raider fans. And I thought our franchise was cursed....
Carr, noooooooooo, its over
Man feel sorry for Carr and Mariota what a [BLEEP] Christmas eve for em.
The news just keeps getting better and better for the texans, though.
Crazy looking at all the QBs that went down/out the past year. Teddy/MM/Carr went down while Manziel went OUT (of the league).

that isnt the narrative they had on espn so i dont think he can do that
Somehow out of that draft class all the top qbs taken, the one who's taken the most beating is still standing.
Mcglowin can spin it tho. They might win a game with him. That defense has tightened up too.
Two former Jaguars HC derailed by injuries after we fire Bradley. The gods have spoken
Anyone see the video of this? He immediately waves for help and then starts almost crying on the field in pain. Really sucks, I liked Carr.

I saw every NFL.com video of this. The fact that Carr immediately beckoned medical personnel tells you how painful broken bones are. When a leg hurts that bad, especially at that location and the way he fell, it's highly unlikely to be anything else. He only grabbed it for a split second before yelling, "It broke!" five times, so anybody could have guessed he would need surgery to fix it.
I gained a new level of respect for Carr when I saw a picture of him being helped off the field. He actually smiled to the fans. Here was a man feeling extreme pain, depending on two people to be vertical, knowing the reason was "it's broke," looking happy from the neck up. The irony is not lost on me. Seeing T.J. Lang cry on the sideline made me even more impressed Derek Carr turned his frown upside down.
