In keeping with the trend, Mike Dempsey has another good guest coming on to do post draft analysis.  Dave Caldwell should be on the air in a little over an hour.

Is there a way I can listen without being in Jax?

Was that a question?  If so, you answered it yourself.  Garrard is his guest host today.

Definitely wasn't crap. Average for sure but not crap.

Yeah, Garrard is one of Dempsey's rotating guest hosts.

He actually had some good advice for Bortles suggesting he should take mental reps when he's not the QB under center in camp, not only mentally, but going through the motion on the play to get comfortable with the timing.
Garrard had some great games here. Closest thing we've had to a franchise QB since Brunell.
So it was either Bortles+Robinson or Watkins+Garopolo/Bridgewater/Carr.

It's also interesting that they had a 1st round grade on Robinson and planned on taking him at 39, but didn't think Lee would be there.

The following was insightful:

* They played out scenarios of who they'd rather have Watkins/Garrapalo or Bortles/Lee or Richardson

* If Lee had gone off the board they would have gone with Robinson early in the 2nd.

Interesting that Manziel isn't included in that group.

My guess is they didn't think he'd be there in the 2nd round.

I would agree but Caldwell isn't afraid to move up to get the guy that they want. Bridgwater didn't make it to the 2nd either but he's still included in his names of potential QB targets.

Bradley made it sound like there was a pretty lively discussion in the War Room about who to take between them.  As soon as they handed in the pick for Lee they immediately went to work on moving back up to get Robinson.

It's still just flat out amazing they were able to get both guys. Almost like we had two first round picks.

And they didn't have to give up any future picks! To me, that's the crazy part! If Mene Gene were handling trades into the Second and Third Rounds in the same draft, the team wouldn't be picking until 2016.
