In my area, basically every dog is loose and feral dogs are pretty common. The feral dogs are almost without fail extremely skittish of people and usually run away on sight - much like coyotes. The yard dogs are absolutely the meaner of the two in my experience.

And what kind of fricking neighborhood do these people live in?? That dog is a neighbors guard dog and they have cameras all over their house!! I'm surprised they were out front and not worried about a drive by or something!!!!
