Quote:Don't forget DG9, as Dempsey refers to him. Garrard is going to be part of that rotation. It's not like he's got anything better to do.
.
I saw him at the Town Center Publix. He was selecting produce and talking on the phone. Multi-tasking...busy guy.
Any time I hear Gus, I'm just amazed at how much of a high energy guy he is....constantly. The positivity is contagious.
Did Bradley say that a couple of guys they targeted went right before the Jags picked or did I mis-hear?

They said that during their presser too, had some guys they wanted that went off the board before them.

He did say that. He said they'd have 3 guys that they were targeting for a specific pick, and one of them went off the board right before their selection.
They feel confident Brewster is headed in the right direction in winning the starting job at C. He said that the injuries he and Joeckel suffered last year actually helped both of them to become stronger.
LISTENING TO GUS BRADLEY IS LIKE READING AN AAU MANUAL.... WOMP WOMP WOMP POSITIVE POSITIVE POSITIVE... NOTHING SPECIAL FROM THAT INTERVIEW.

What exactly would you expect to hear from that interview?
Before I found out about Colvin I honestly thought they were going to go for DT DaQuan Jones, went off 2 picks before theirs in the 4th. Another seniorbowl kid. But probally was just a homer thought lol.

That's very interesting. I wonder which guys we might have if we picked one slot higher in the rounds we didn't trade up for a guy...

So what? I like the fact that he's completely upbeat, and as consistent as he's been, it's sure as heck not schtick. It's just the way he is. If it bothers you, New England might have a guy who better suits your preferences.
As far as there being nothing special from the interview, what exactly were you expecting him to say?

No telling. They're very happy with the guys they got.
Quote:Well ESPN was about Michael Sam and his whining about how he should have been drafted earlier. If he would keep his mouth shut and sexual preference to himself maybe he would have but he's gonna have a hard time making that Rams Dline. Well anyway more then I needed to say and I don't want to get band from forum. lol just tired of of Sam being thrown down are throat by Espn,Nfl Network and Etc.
Here's what happened behind the scenes:
Roger Goodell to Stan Kroenke/Rams owner: ESPN/the gay mafia are breathing down my neck. We can't have Sam go undrafted. If you take him with your last pick, there might be some incentives for you with your move to L.A.
Kroenke: No thanks, Roger. We just don't want the publicity.
Goodell: C'mon Stan, take one for the team (wink).
Kroenke: He will be a wasted pick. No way he makes our team.
Goodell: That's the point, Stan. Just cut him late in training camp so he'll have a hard time catching on elsewhere. Everyone knows you have a stacked D-line, so it's a plausible reason for the cut.
Kroenke: Fine. This better work out.
Goodell: Trust me, Stan, we'll take care of you. Now, not a word of this conversation to anyone.
Kroenke: 10-4.
