Because I think he's a good coach. Glad you waited for that.

What did he do differently in this game than all of the previous this season.  I have non Jags fans saying its the same team and same plays but we executed for all 4 quarters and won.  Now i'm asking you, what did you see differently that apparently confirms your statement.

I'm not trying to confirm my statement or justify my opinions to you.

The results on the field speak for themselves.

If you have a differing opinion, that's good for you, but it won't change mine.

By all means, keep your opinion because everyone is entitled to their own.  I just don't understand the excitement over the players actually executing today.  I saw the same, well an even better, level of execution when we put 50 on the colts.  I guess that was all Marrone then as it was today.  I see a team that can play but doesn't for 4 quarters, which they managed to do today.  Enjoy your feelings and thoughts as much as you'd like.  Carry on.

We covered the TEs well all day, less bad match ups on defense. Offense executed with new wrinkles added to the gameplan.
I have absolutely no doubt that the Jags would have found a way to lose this game under our last HC, no doubt at all.

Big congratulations to Doug Marrone today and a personal Thank you very much for the home win, we needed it very badly and you delivered.

And that was Doug Marrone not Walsh?  whatever you say.

A few route changes on offense is a thanks to hackett for not running Olsen's same plays over and over.  Glad he finally added a few new plays but sad to see all the hype for Marrone like he changed the entire team when all they did was the same thing and executed better.  Anything to make the fans seem smarter than the average bear though.

Bro.

Getting your team to execute is what coaching is.

Newsflash: Hackett and Wash have been coordinators for the majority of this season.

OK and they did that under Gus too.  Players play for their jobs and the love of the game....Hopefully.  They did it for one game which they have done in the past against this same team. Try again.

Because real fans can tell you that execution was the problem all season. Gus couldn't fix it, Marrone did in less than a week. Obviously we need to see that continue but you can't argue with the results we have seen, and since we have only seen one game, it's all we can use as a metric right now.

Nine game losing streak and 14-48 says otherwise

Try what again?

Explaining to you what coaching is?

Players that actually believed in their coach and were given a reason to actually.. play

Stop defending bradley, all of your posts in all these threads is making me want to throw up

Not the same plays at all. It was very noticeable that there were more quick throw intermediate routes to get the ball out of Blakes hands faster. Not to mention the trick play. It worked because we're normally pretty predictable. Lastly we played more aggressively. I was so used to Gus I stunned we called a TO after stopping them with a minute left in the half to go for another score. With all that being said, one game doesn't mean Doug is the sole answer to our problems.

Disagree they came prepared.  And better clock management.  And took more chances.
